TYPOGRAPHY Typography is a subject I have been interested for many years. I find it interesting learning about different letter forms and designers that push new ways to use and display different treatments to typography. This mini publication showcases a few typefaces/ typographers that inspire me. 4. Bunch 6.

ROIDS - RAREKIND

Since beginning as a graffiti artist a decade ago, Roid has always sought to create his own unique and distinctive style. And despite his young age, he is arguably one of the most influential graffiti artists in the UK, he has spawned an army of followers who wish to seek to push the boundaries of traditional New York Subway graffiti. He is now considered to be world-class in this field. Now practicing as an illustrator in London, his work is inspired by contemporary British illustration, Italian Horror movies, Early Science Fiction, Graphic Novels and Graphic Design. His phenomenal attention to detail and broad spectrum of influence is very apparent in both his graffiti and his artwork. 10

ROIDS - RAREKIND What are your favourate three colours? Black, white & warm grey Where does your inspiration come from? I draw inspiration from loads of places, travel, music, film, fashion, architecture, geometry, classic and contemporary art, i tend to take lots of photos of things ‌ whether its a piece of typography i see on a street sign, a pattern i see on the upholstery of a train seat or some interesting geometric tiling inside a building. Its the same with color, if i see a nice combination ill either snap it or try and keep it in mind for some ideas in the future. You often find the freshest and most inspiring things in the strangest places.
