Sleeping comfort that lasts Developing products with a long lifespan is one of the most important sustainability principles. This contributes to reduce the environmental footprint and will provide quality and comfort that lasts. Our tests show that the materials’ ability to provide good pressure relief, moisture transportation and ventilation are the most important material features to ensure the same high level of sleeping comfort over a long period of time.

This is what our customers say In Wonderland’s customer survey from 2022/2023* with over 3,000 participants, we find that our customers prioritise long lifespan and washable textiles as the most important features when it comes to beds and sustainability.

Customize and maintenance To ensure a long lifespan with sleeping comfort and quality that lasts, Wonderland has many features that allow you to customize and maintain your bed.
ADJUSTABLE HIP ZONE
With Wonderland’s adjustable hip zone, you can adjust the bed’s firmness to your personal needs. This makes the choice of a new bed easier and you can adjust the firmness whenever your needs change.
WASHABLE TEXTILES
Our washable textiles at 60°C* provide a sleeping environment that always can be clean and healthy. Thiw will also ensure that your new bed will have a long lifespan. * Does not apply for wool textile
REPLACEABLE PARTS
Wonderland’s beds have many parts that are replaceable. This means that you can change both the comfort, the appearance and extend the overall lifespan of your bed.

UN Sustainable Development Goals We are setting our main focus on three of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With knowledge about sleep, circular design and how we can reduce our environmental footprint, we will work together with our local suppliers to design and produce beds that are good for both you and the environment. How to reduce the carbon footprint of a bed by 50% In 2020, Wonderland started the largest environmental project in the Norwegian furniture history. Together with suppliers and researchers, we have reached the project goal and can reduce the carbon footprint of a bed by 50%. We have reached the goal by analyzing the bed components, materials and production processes. Every part have been analyzed to ensure a long lifespan and how all parts will be included in a circular value chain. Research-based knowledge In the project we have been working with leading researchers in the fields of environment, industrial design and sleep.

This has given us the researchbased knowledge we need to make the right choices for the future. The next step The project was completed during the spring of 2023 and we are already implementing changes in our production. By focusing on both sleep and sustainability we want to contribute to a world that sleeps better.
