How do you transport the beer to the UK?
Do you deliver?
Left Coast uses SamSkip, a global logistics firm that specializes in shipping perishable goods. Several years ago they began to develop expertise in shipping beer from the West Coast to the UK. All our beer is shipped in temperature controlled refrigerated containers ensuring brewery-door freshness.
For retail customers, see question (4). For trade customers – yes, we use a courier firm. However, you may find your local wholesaler provides a more flexible delivery schedule.
How long does it take West Coast beer to reach the UK?
As of April 2016, we only bring beer.
The typical shipping route takes about one month dependent on the weather – stormy Atlantic winters make for slower progress.
Can you import beer from other US brewers?
Do you import spirits and wine as well as beer?’
Where are you based in the UK?
We’re very happy to chat to other brewers about importing their beer into the UK.
