FRONT COVER FEATURE: SURF DOGS GRILL

Surf Dogs Grill Offers Taste Tempting Creative Cuisine

S

urf Dogs Grill & Key Lime Pie Co. is an awesome family owned and operated local gem located in Chesterfield Valley. Since 2008, Surf Dogs Grill has been serving up some great food and more recently has been making new waves in Chesterfield with its culinary creativity. Surf Dogs Grill is not just a hot dog place any longer but has reached new heights as a top notch full-service restaurant. Surf Dogs Grill is fun, inexpensive and certainly kid pleasing! Service is great, fast and friendly. The restaurant is owned and operated by Brian and Carmen Wieher, who also both work for local school districts. Carmen is a sci-

ence teacher for Francis Howell School District and Brian works for the Rockwood School District Child Nutrition Services. Along with the owners, Surf Dogs Grill’s new Executive Chef Randall Fisher is creating some new, delicious gourmet soups, sandwiches, salads, burgers and hand battered fish and shrimp items; all accompanied by great sides, such as season fries, homemade chips, pasta salad and made to order onion straws, just to list a few. Two of the new homemade soups are Cream of Crab and Louisiana-style Gumbo. The first ingredient of the Cream of Crab is Maryland Blue Crab and the Gumbo includes chicken, shrimp and sausage…nothing but the best. A new sandwich at Surf Dogs Grill is the Chicken Ranch Pita which is grilled chicken breast with crispy lettuce, tomato, mozzarella and cheddar tossed in a zesty ranch dressing. You will also have to try the new signature Firecracker Burger- a hand-pattied burger with American and Swiss cheese, bacon, deep fried

jalapenos and freshly made onion straws topped with Chef Randy’s raspberry jalapeno mayo. If this burger heats you up, then you can cool down with an ice cold brew from the large bottle beer selection. Of course, Surf Dogs Grill is still famous for their 100% beef gourmet hot dogs and their award winning Key Lime Pie and Key Lime Pie Bar, which is a slice of pie dipped in rich dark chocolate served conveniently on a stick. Come and visit Surf Dogs Grill for lunch or a casual fun-filled dinner, heck even bring your entire team after the game. Kids love this place but adults like it even more! Surf Dogs Grill tag line says “most excellent food & brew”-that pretty much sums it up! Visit soon! Located at 137 Chesterfield Towne Centre in Chesterfield Valley. Dine in or take out. Open Tues-Sat 11am-8pm, Sun & Mon 11am3pm. Call 636-537-8799. www.surfdogsgrill.com

BACK COVER FEATURE SealMaxxPlus and IntegraSeal announced recently that they have joined together to offer customers the opportunity to never seal their wood or concrete surfaces again. After ten years as friendly competitors David Monahan, President of SealMaxxPlus, and Greg Tyler, President of IntegraSeal announced the merger into one company retaining the name SealMaxxPlus. SealMaxxPlus is a service applied process of cleaning and sealing wood and concrete internally. The process is two days with a day in the middle for drying purposes. The initial application of sealant is applied following a deep cleaning of the wood or concrete. The cleaning removes all previous oil based stains that may have been applied. While wet the wood/concrete sealant is applied and carried into the substrate by the rinse water. After drying for 24 hours the wood may be lightly sanded prior to the application of the moisture barrier sealant. This silicone based product seals the wood and concrete

SealMaxxPlus will be participating in both upcoming HBA Spring Home Shows at the Americas Center March 6-9 (Booth 732) and St. Charles Convention Center April 4-6 (Booth 701). Visit www.sealmaxxplus.com for additional information concerning either process. You may request a no obligation, no cost consultation from the web site or by calling 636.294.6299. SealMaxxPlus is an A rated Accredited Business by the BBB and a proud member of the Home Builders Association of Eastern Missouri. SealMaxxPlus offering you the finest quality products available, with the highest degree of customer service possible, at a fair and reasonable price.

for several years to come. The wood sealant can contain a cedartone stain to give the wood a very natural cedar finish. Concrete sealant, for the most part, is applied as a clear product. 39
