1st term econferences

1st term econferences IES Cabo de la Huerta (Alicante, Spain)Smola Ungdomsskole (Smola, Norway) This term we have held two econferences with our partner school, Smøla Ungdomsskole , under their subject "International cooperation". This year, the partner group will be 3rd ESO E, the one with the same timetable. The first time we made a presentation about Alicante and Spain. It turned out rather noisy, so we decided to try a different format for the second one.

Our groups are very different, the Spanish one has 25 students whereas the Norwegians make five. With the enthusiasm of the participant teachers in Norway, Margit Tysness y Line Mehlun, we could rebuild the layout.

Thus, the second time we decided to make a presentation on sport by a smaller group of volunteers, while the rest of the class were the audience. The outcome was awesome: everyone behaved and the motivation level went beyond excitement. They were very serious and worked a lot to prepare it, even on their own initiative and in their free time as well; they were capable of organising the whole thing.

It was about famous people, famous sports people in Spain, popular sports in Spain, sports practiced at school and sports that they practice in their free time.

Both international teams made the presentations followed with great interest by their partners and we ended up with a bi-lateral selfie. Some pictures are collected in the next few pages.
