1ª econferencia IES Cabo de la Huerta (Alicante, Spain)Smola Ungdomsskole (Smola, Norway) Last Friday 25/5/2018 we had our first econference with Smøla Ungdomsskole under their subject "International cooperation". In this case, 3rd ESO A/B students met with the same age students from our partner school. We used a different system, as students used their cell phones by downloading Skype and opening accounts under their parents' consent We made three groups and followed the conversations with great enthusiasm. the topic was a first catch-up on presentations and general knowledge of our countries. A group took the initiative to take their friends on a school tour. They asked to keep talking with them at home, which means they deeply enjoyed the task and wanted more. More time exposed to the language, more learning. They were overexcited. We noticed our need to learn "small talk" and are going to prepare for our next meeting on the 8th June.
