Overview • • • •
The reader is delivered configured and set with the customer’s encryption key. The reader is delivered with a USB cable that connects to the computer, as well as transformer. The reader is delivered with a transformer with a power plug. The reader is delivered with an RS232 cable that connects to a receipt printer (if used).

Place the reader in the desired location. Connect the transformer to the nearest power outlet. Connect the printer cable to the receipt printer (if used). The display should now show the text "Place your card" + today's date and time.

F1 to enter amount to be deducted from the card F2 same as above for F1 F3 to display the current balance on the card F4 to enter amount of credits to be added to the card
F1 and F2 – Deduct/remove credits 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Put a guest card on the reader. Press the F1 or F2 key. Enter the amount of credits to be deducted/removed from the card. Press ENTER. The display now shows the amount deducted/removed and the card's new balance for about 1 second. 6. If a receipt printer is connected to the reader, a receipt is now printed.
F3 – Show card balance 1. 2. 3. 4.
Put a guest card on the reader. Press the F3 button. The display now shows the amount remaining on the card for about 1 second. If a receipt printer is connected to the reader, a receipt is now printed.
F4 – Add credits 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Put a guest card on the reader. Press the F4 button. Enter the amount to be added to the card. Press ENTER. The display now shows the amount of added credits and the card's new balance for about 1 second. 6. If a receipt printer is connected to the reader, a receipt is now printed.
