Robideaux unveils parish-wide drainage plan
SPEND IT DIFFERENTLY THIS TIME AROUND SWEET CECILIA
Following the August 2016 floods in Lafayette parish, local officials have made drainage issues a top priority. Mayor- President Joel Robideaux recently presented a plan to address this issue. This comes after voters approved a millage re-dedication back in November that provides $9 million in funding for drainage projects. The plan has two phases which lists projects most in need being addressed first. Robideaux believes that preliminary work for some projects could begin in as little as 90 days.
