Louisiana voters head to the polls once again on November 16th to settle run-off races left unresolved by the October 12th primary election. In statewide elections, Gov. John Bel Edwards is fighting for a second term in a run-off against Republican businessman Eddie Rispone. Should Edwards hold on to the seat, he will be the only Democratic Governor in the deep south. The only other statewide election is for Secretary of State, where Interim Secretary, Kyle Ardoin (R) faces off

LCG Launches 311 Lafayette Service Website

In an ongoing effort to streamline public service requests, Lafayette Consolidated Government has launched a new digital 311 Lafayette Services portal. Through 311 Lafayette, citizens can submit service requests online and find related information in one, easy-to-access location. This website currently allows users to report specific non-emergency police-related requests, such as suspected illegal activities, loitering, panhandling, illegal parking, and other areas of concern in the community
