GIVING + GETTING INVOLVED AT PARISH

Parish Fund Parish Gala Booster Clubs

Purpose Parish Fund is the School’s largest and most important annual fundraising effort. It assists in advancing the mission of the School and creating unique opportunities for our students.

We have two giving societies at Parish:

- 1972 Society recognizes community members who have given annually to Parish Fund for 5+ years.

- Legacy Society recognizes those in the Parish community whose cumulative annual gifts to Parish Fund total $50,000 or more.

How it Supports Parish Parish Fund provides direct funding annually for educational initiatives that tuition alone does not cover. Every gift directly benefits every student, every day at Parish.

Hosted by the Parents' Association, the Parish Gala is a night of both fundraising and fellowship that includes dinner, dancing, raffle, Big Board and Live auctions. Parish Gala is always a special night as we gather to celebrate the Parish community.

The Parish Athletic Booster Club, The Arts People (TAP) and sySTEMs are parent-led clubs focused on fundraising and fellowship. Their mission is to support Parish Panthers and their passions!

This annual golf event is a beloved Parish tradition and raises money for the Gloria H. Snyder Financial Aid Endowed Fund which supports the School’s tuition assistance program.

Time Frame Year round; parent campaign runs from October 1 to October 31, 2025; Pledges payable by May 31.

Money raised at the Parish Gala, and the events leading up to it, goes toward the School’s operating budget or endowment. The Gift of Love “paddle raise” the evening of Gala has also raised restricted dollars toward the School’s performing arts center, new buses, and even our beloved original Panther Blue turf at Gloria H. Snyder Stadium.

Parish Bingo Night and the Parish with Love Online Auction take place in January, followed by Parish Gala which will be held at Gilley’s on February 21, 2026.

The booster clubs raise money through membership drives, and other activities and ultimately gift funds back to the School to help purchase items that are above and beyond the operating budget for Athletics, Parish Arts and Parish STEM programs. Examples include new microscopes and robotics sets, digital cameras, costume storage solutions, updated weight room, Sports Medicine equipment, and so much more.

Year round; membership drive kicks-off in August

Hosted by the Parish Athletic Booster Club, this fundraising event benefits the tuition assistance program at Parish. Parish’s second Head of School, Gloria Snyder, and her husband Ed were passionate about making the Parish educational experience accessible to everyone, and tuition assistance helps make this possible.

This year’s golf tournament will be held Monday, September 29, 2025, at The Clubs of Prestonwood - The Creek Dallas, Texas.

Parish Book Fair Corporate Sponsorship Program Endowment

The main goal of each Parish book fair is similar to the main goal of the library - to provide access to materials that will enrich our students’ lives. The Hillcrest campus hosts a book fair around the winter holidays each year, and the Midway campus hosts a book fair near the end of the school year to encourage reading throughout the summer.

Market your business to the Parish community during the school year through on-campus banners, print and digital advertising, and more. Benefit from exposure to not only Parish families, but campus visitors and the broader Dallas community as well.

An endowment fund can be compared to a long-term investment plan. It is a permanent fund in which the principal is invested and the earnings are spent. Endowment gifts ensure a bright future for Parish Episcopal School and its students.

Blair-Snyder

Society (Planned Giving)

The Blair-Snyder Society is a planned giving program named after Parish’s first two headmasters, Mary Loving Blair and Gloria H. Snyder, who both ensured that their legacy of love for students would continue in perpetuity. Planned giving is a donor’s intention to contribute a major gift beyond their lifetime; gifts such as these greatly benefit the School longterm.

Capital or Major Gift Campaign

A capital or major gift campaign is a targeted, large-scale fundraising effort that takes place over a defined period of time, and is conducted by the School in order to bring in a large injection of capital investment to support the physical space, programs or other areas of the School. Athletic benefits Parish’s passionate and

Whether students are reading for knowledge or fun, they are expanding their minds through books. The book fairs supplement the libraries’ mission to provide materials to meet the educational and independent reading needs of students.

Funds raised through our corporate sponsorship program support the Athletics, Arts and STEM booster clubs at Parish. There are also opportunities to support Gala, Bingo Night and the golf tournament through event underwriting.

Yearly earnings from the general endowment are used to supplement the School’s operating budget or toward restricted purposes if designated as such.

Join the Blair-Snyder Society by naming Parish Episcopal School in your estate plans. Gifts can include bequests, charitable remainder trusts, gift annuities, charitable lead trusts, life insurance policies and select gifts of real estate. There is no minimum gift and gifts may be designated to a specific purpose, department or program, or to the general endowment.

Parish’s most recent capital campaign, Limitless, was completed in 2019 and funded the construction of Gene E. Phillips Activity Center and Noble Family Performing Arts Center.
