Welcome STATE THEATRE TO THE
Greetings! In addition to a fun and lively season of performances on our stage, there are a few other projects and announcements I’d like to share with you. The Eau Claire Regional Arts Council is pleased to announce a partnership with the Arts and Science Council of Charlotte to join a website called power2give. org. This website is for non-profit organizations and individual artists to post arts, culture and history projects. Then YOU the donor can choose which project you would like to fund, and how much you want to give. It’s a centralized place to find creative local projects, and to see a direct result from your gift. I’d like to take a moment to congratulate the winners of our new arts supporter awards, presented at Jubilee in June. The 2012 winners were Xcel Energy with the Business in Support of the Arts Award, Patricia Mayhew-Hamm with Artist in Support of the Arts Award, and Mel and Leann Breed for Individuals in Support of the Arts Award. There was also a special award given to Laurie Bieze, for Lifetime Achievement in the Arts. This is the beginning of an exciting tradition, and I hope you’ll join us at Jubilee 2013 on June 6. And last, but certainly not least, the Confluence Project! This groundbreaking public-private partnership will provide a home for the arts for years to come, and will create new synergies that will only enhance our already incredible arts community. I hope we can count on your support as we progress. If you have any questions about the project, please feel free to stop by. It’s a story we’re happy to tell. As always, enjoy the show! Sincerely, Ben Richgruber Executive Director FOLLOW US FOR SPECIAL EVENTS AND OFFERS! facebook/statetheatre
