Paul Ditty, a clothing and textile designer, created the fashion "Floral Reign" inspired by the period in French history from 1890-1910 with Yupo's Translucents line.
We asked Paul what it was like to create a paper fashion.
What was the most challenging part of creating your fashion?
"Working with paper was very difficult. I prefer working with stronger synthetic papers. They hold stitches well and resist rips and tears."
How many hours did you spend creating your fashion?
"Easily 100 for each piece if not more".
Did you have any major snafus with your fashion?
"There were several instances where I briefly became overwhelmed with the amount of work required to finish my garments, but I powered through and finished them all just in time for the show."
