2018 PFS JUDGE: HELEN YOUNG

Meet another of our esteemed 2018 Paper Fashion Show Judges, Edward Popovitz. He, along with five other industry leaders, judged the teams on their technique, garment wearability, and adhering to the “90% Paper Rule”.

EDWARD POPOVITZ: DESIGN INSTRUCTOR, ART INSTITUTE OF COLORADO

Edward is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He completed his BFA in fine arts at Ball State University in 1994 and completed his MFA at the University of Dallas in 1998. He has been a Denver resident ever since.

Since moving to Colorado, Edward has worked at Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design and The Art Institute of Colorado. He has served on the AIGA Board of Directors on and off since 2009. He has participated in The One Club Denver/ AIGA Portfolio Review every year since it’s inception.

He was awarded a Robert Taylor Professional Development Grant and Sabbatical in 2015.
