China's food is very unique and traditional. Grains are the main food in China. Rice is the favorite grain among the people in the South. In the north, people prefer wheat, which they make in to bread and noodles. Corn millet, and sorghum are also eaten. Vegetables, especially cabbage and Tofu rank second in Chinese diet. As a foodie, eating foods is my favorite thing and I also find my speciality in eating, that is tasting food and know the condiment in every dishes. Describe My Favorite Food

My favorite food of all time is my grandma's oatmeal scotchies! Oatmeal scotchies are regular oatmeal cookies with butterscotch chips baked into them. They are super delicious! When my grandma first wanted me to try the oatmeal scotchies I didn't think I would like them because I thought they were just oatmeal cookies. But I ended up loving them! Once when my friends and I had one of our last basketball league games, it was a day before my birthday so I brought oatmeal scotchies and everyone loved them! Oatmeal scotchies are so good!

One of the biggest struggles in my life tends to be food. I love eating, but at the same time, I rather not eat. I love trying new foods with exotic flavors and unique recipes, but I fear the reaction that by body will force on me. I have recently been diagnosed with a condition known as dyspepsia. Eating half naked sounds weird, well it is weird, but that just shows you the closeness of our relationship. I 'm obsessed with spaghetti, it 's the best carbs a girl could get her hands on.

For instance, when my grandmother is cooking her infamous spaghetti, the whole neighborhood knows because you can smell the sauce from outside of the house. We use to stay in a small shotgun house and since there was poor ventilation, she would cook with the door open. Well, we had to stop that because neighbors would beg like no tomorrow for a plate of food, the same neighbors who wouldn 't even lend you a cup of sugar if your life depended on it. Moreover, the downfall of her cooking without the door open is that my mouth would hang to the floor the whole time the meal was being prepared because I would be mesmerized.

When she cooks, she seduces you and the aromas pull moans from the bottom of your belly. I remember this one time my nose got me in trouble. My nose grew feet and walked me to the kitchen where I saw the spaghetti cooling off on the counter, I figured one or three spoonfuls of the sauce would hurt, well I was wrong. Food is the one thing that we cannot live without. Even for those who have developed the discipline to fast for a specified period, eventually, they must start eating again. We love our food to the point that recorded in history as being the first sin. Food is something we all enjoy, and sometimes it shows. Most of the human race eats three to four meals a day, and the selection of those foods are not a part of the recommended daily allowances. I will share my favorite foods, my least favorite foods, and the reason I eat the way that I do and what foods I will incorporate for a balance diet.

For me, my favorite likes are warm–hot rolls. I prefer wheat more than white with lots of butter. Biscuits with butter and my homemade apple butter or bacon jam. Oh, my it's yummy. I also make granola bars with some butter smeared on the bottom of the pan. I put the butter on the parchment paper which is the last step before I place them in the oven for 25 minutes in a low–temperature oven. Another one of my likes is my butter crГЁme frosting on top of a white or chocolate cake, and I scoop the frosting off with lays potatoes chips. As far back as I can remember, I have always liked going out to eat. Two of my favorite restaurants are Jake's and McDonald's. Though both are places to dine they have their differences in their ambiance, waiting, and expense. When deciding where to go to eat, I have three things to think about. I must consider the atmosphere or where I want to go. The amount of time I have is another consideration. The amount of money that I am able to spend is a big influence.

The atmosphere at Jake's is casual, and people came to spend several hours. Jake's has a waiting room with long, leather–topped benches to sit on while waiting. Next the waiters bring some buttered rolls to eat while the customers are waiting, and of course, there are always peanuts. Customers are encouraged to throw the hulls on the floor. After waiting about seven to ten minutes, the waiter comes back to the table and takes the customers' orders. About ten minutes later, the waiter brings out the salads and refills the customers' drinks. A half an hour later, the waiter brings out the customers' food.

There is a more rapid pace at McDonald's. Here customers have the option of driving through or dining in. The customers walk up to the counter and give their order. The food should be ready in the next two minutes. However, if the counter person gets the order wrong, the customers may have to wait longer. Food brings everyone together no matter what culture you are in. Culture is a way of life shared by a group of people, beliefs, customs, symbols and etc. Many families can spend time with each other by preparing and eating dinner at the table, going out for dinner or just celebrating holidays. Describe My Favorite Food

Enjoying a mixed salad is a must. I enjoy making salads with kale, romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, kale, cabbage – purple and white, red bell pepper, pickled jalapenos, sweet onions and then top it off with, avocado, or tuna or grilled chicken or salmon. Another favorite for me are my homemade soups. I use chicken or beef with the bone still in place because much of the flavor comes from the bone. I add fresh vegetable, onions, and pearl barley to make it a little hardier.

Usually when someone asks me "what is your favorite food?" My immediate reply is food. I know that sounds like I 'm trying to be funny but it 's true. I enjoy such a wide variety of food that to narrow it down to "this is my favorite food that I would be happy eating for the rest of my life," it 's nearly impossible. So I have decided to talk about one of my many favorite foods: sandwiches. One of the things I like the most about sandwiches is that they can be so versatile. You could do Vietnamese and have bahn–mi or Mexican and have a torta. Or, settle for the old comfort of a peanut butter and jelly. Just like it is impossible to narrow down a favorite food, it 's hard for me to narrow down a least favorite food as well. I 've always been pretty easy to please in the food department. There aren 't many things that I don 't like. That being said there are a couple of things that I have tried and found to be disgusting. Durian definitely tops that list. Durian is a fruit native to South East Asia. It is distinctive by the fact that it 's covered on spikes and its strong pungent odor. Pad Thai is my favourite meal to enjoy during both lunch and dinner times. It is notably one of the most famous Thai dishes outside of Thailand and can be found served in all Thai restaurants and eateries in Singapore. It is a savoury dish which consists of rice noodles stir–fried with eggs, shrimps, fried tofu cubes, garlic, red chilli peppers, seasoned with fish sauce, tamarind pulps, palm sugars and served with chopped roast peanuts and lime slices. Other than these staple ingredients, condiments such as bean sprouts, coriander leaves and proteins such as slices of beef, chicken or pork may also be added to one's tasting. Pad Thai is not only tasty but is an example of how Columbian Exchange influenced and provided for the food ingredients found in pad Thai and the cultural perception which we have for Thai cuisine today. My Evaluation of the Cheesecake Factory

My most favorite of all time restaurants to dine at is The Cheesecake Factory. This restaurant is a famous corporate chain of restaurants that offers a widespread variety of all types of American dishes and of course specializes in the most amazing variety of the best tasting cheesecakes. I love the experience of dining at the Cheesecake factory because the atmosphere is so welcoming and the artwork on the ceilings make you feel very lavish, the food is great and the service is excellent. It came with croutons, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken tossed in ceasar dressing in an enormous plate. I was so satisfied with my appetizer and the delicious complimentary bread that I had to order a salad and even that was too much for me to finish. Even though I was too full, I had to order one of their infamous cheesecakes after all. I ordered the Oreo Extreme which was a special edition cheesecake and it was big and delicious enough to feed my whole family.

Lastly the service at The Cheesecake Factory caught my attention. As soon as we walked through the door we heard, "How are you?

Welcome to the Cheesecake Factory". We were taken to our table by our hostess and then we were asked a drink order. Our drinks were received and the order was taken in a timely manner. The server was very knowledgeable of the menu and was very polite while taking our order. We were told our order would be put right in, and the drinks with the complimentary bread came in no time. Then the food arrived and we began to eat. As we ate our meal the server came over twice to check on us and get us refills. We asked for our check and it was received and paid very quickly. While dining at The Cheesecake Factory, the service was fantastic. The server was very attentive and took very good care of us. I enjoyed my experience impressively and will continue to come back here any chance I get. The Cheesecake Factory restaurant makes the best out of everyone's visit.
