Tell us a little about yourselves?

Jawad: I think its best we answer that for each other to keep it humble . Abeer is a cofindent , loving and positive person who has the solution to every problem. She manages everything perfectly. I call her Superwoman!

Abeer: Jawad is a people person. Hes fun loving, dependable with contagious energy and has strong attention to detail. Best person to have on your team What is Forget Me not designworks?

Forget Me Not designworks is the pioneer in manufacturing bespoke plants, planters , vertical gardens, etc in Pakistan. We offer retail, interior, consultancy based services and customized solutions to ensure your home, office, shop or any environment is a blooming reflection of your

unique taste. Be it a simple plant or the complete interior of your project- we design , manufacture and deliver to your satisfaction What inspired you to open Forget Me Not designworks?

We opened Forget Me Not in 2011 which was initially a fresh flowers shop. From that we started doing events for which we imported artificial plants and flower for dĂŠcor. That got us into designing and manufacturing all sorts of greens for our events and interior designing projects.

From which it evolved to what Forget Me Not designworks is today.

What is your USP? We believe in customized solutions keeping all our clients requirements and constraints in mind.

Hence with every project we grow and expand

not just in our product range but also in our creativity. Transforming a space is not just our business- its our passion.

What is FMNs slogan?

We put the ART in ARTificial Tell us about your educational background?

Abeer: Ive done my B.Arch from National college of Arts.

Jawad: I don’t have an art background as people would usually expect. Ive done my Masters in Finance from Peshawer Being married and running a company together – how does that work?

Jawad: Before anything we are friends and make a great team. I think having the same wave length is the most important be it work or marriage. And what could be better if you get both with the same person.

Abeer: I think it works great for us as we both have different strengths and divide our work accordingly. Also considering the amount of time and energy we spend working would not be possible if we both weren’t equally passionate and invested in it Tell us three things we don’t know about you?

Abeer: 1. I own a commercial kitchen by the name of Genie Kitchen that delivers Chinese cuisine. 2 I have photographic memory and 3 I have a plan A, B and C for everything Jawad: One I am a pathan and I speak 4 different dialects of Pashto. Two I was on the national swimming team and three id rather you didnt know lol If you were stuck in an elevator what song would you play on repeat?

Abeer: Im a music lover so that’s a tough one for me. Probably Levels by Avicii, But if im stuck for very long id wanna hear “Self hypnosis for relaxation” lol Jawad: Baba o Railey by The Who Abeer: Jawad plays every new song he likes on repeat! Lol Luckily we share most of our taste in music Jawad: Guilty! lol nowadays I have Sajna by Yashal Shahid on repeat!

What does being Your own boss mean?

Jawad: It means being disciplined if you actually want to make something of yourself Abeer: Usually people think being your own boss is lucky as you don’t have to go to work 9-5. But being your own boss actually means you work 24/7.

And you have to make sure everyone is doing their work. Its your repute on the line so you have to be responsible and on top of your game.

What is your dream destination?

Jawad: I really believe there is no better place to live in than Pakistan. But for a vacation show me any place with beautiful clean beaches and im game.

Abeer: I love travelling so im up for any new destination always. But 1 country I would love to go to but haven’t yet is Japan.

What inspiration person would you like to have dinner with?

Jawad: Jack Ma. I think he is truly inspirational.

Abeer: Elon Musk! That guy really knows how to push boundaries. I would love to pick his brains.

We stayed at Mรถvenpick for two nights and then moved to S31 for another 3 nights. Wanted to enjoy two sides of Bangkok as there is so much to explore in the city!

The famous Ministry of Crab from Sri Lanka just opened in Bangkok the most fresh crabs ever!

The rooftop bars/ restaurants are the places to visit The Octave, Lebua, Veritigo and Flamenco being a few.

The street food is my favourite in Bangkok, we tried so many places while just walking around. The best time to go is December, the weather was out of this world!

Lastly, make bookings from before since everything is over booked otherwise.
