I am an artist, a traveler and a yogi. » Tell us a little about your education.

I am an M.B.B.S ,Ph.D in Dermatology. MSc from university of Wales London. and a board certified aesthetic physician.

Why did you decide to become a fitness trainer?

Well honestly, I’ve been obsessed with fitness for as long as I remember. I knew at a young age that if there’s anything in life that I’m capable of doing, it’s fitness.

My crazy university routine didn’t let me give my 100% into my workouts. That’s when I decided to give up everything and focus on this alone.

Who was your biggest inspiration and why?

I’d say my dad for sure! I haven’t seen anyone as hardworking as him. It’s good to hear people say that I’m becoming like him.

How important is nutrition to you when deciding a client’s regimen?

Nutrition is the most important factor to be honest, probably more important than the workouts themselves. I always tell my clients, it’s 70% diet and 30% exercise.

If you weren’t a fitness trainer what would you be doing now?

Probably working somewhere in the fashion industry as I did my Bachelors in Fashion Designing.

Which fitness personality do you look up to and why?

There are so many but these days I’m obsessed with Demi Bagby. Her moves are so effortlessly on point. I mean who can do a back flip in a dress and heels?

How do you keep your fitness knowledge up to date?

A lot of research!! I always try research on different topics related to fitness and nutrition and try to gather information from research studies.

Ten years from now you will be?

Someone with way more knowledge about health and nutrition. And InshaAllah I would be running my own fitness studio, helping out as many people as I can to be taking care of their fitness regimen. That’s the dream!

What’s the motto you live by?

Hard work and consistency! That’s what I preach. If you’re not consistent, you’re never going to be able to develop a healthy lifestyle and keep your body fit!

What kind of workout do you enjoy the most?

I enjoy HIIT workouts the most! I love lifting weights and doing Cross Fit as well but the rush you get from HIIT is something else!

Three essential exercises you’d recommend to clients?

Squats, dead lifts and mountain climbers all day!

What kind of discipline is required by a fitness trainer to stay successful?

I think you need to always be on top of your game. Being a fitness instructor I
