You look stunning Mahira, what are you wearing and who did your styling?

Mahira Khan: Really? Well I'm my own stylist!

Haha. #true story: Sehar, my manager and i arrived in Lahore and I said lets go to Mango! We got there at 11 am and it wasn't open. We waited for it to open and ran inside. I'm like ok let’s just get this!

We are all human beings and we all have our ups and downs. What is your motivation, what keeps you guys going?

Haroon: What I've learnt is that you have to learn how to be patient and put up a face. I've learnt from Mahira how to control my feelings. We were sitting in an interview and this journalist was being obnoxious. I got up and left but Mahira kept sitting and she put on a face and sat through the interview without even complaining!

Mahira: We have to put up a face. We owe it to the people that really matter. It’s a blessing when you go home and you look around and you're like no, this

is what I have to stay strong for. Other people come and go. They don't define you. We all go through pain but ours is made public and it hurts a lot but I also have something one in a million that a lot of people don't have. We have so many people that love me and cheer for me and its the best feeling in the world.

Who is your mentor? That one person that inspires you?

Haroon: I would have to say Shoib Mansoor, The way he conducts himself, the way he behaves. He's not doing it to be famous, yet he is famous. He is my hero.

He had faith in me. He said you, you will act and I will break you and keep breaking you to make you the hero.

Mahira: I can't pick one person. Everyone has their qualities, good and bad. And all these people are so professional and each one of them has their own ways and it’s amazing to be around people who are dedicated to their own craft. We get to learn so much from them.

I think that Mahira and I clicked right away. And the reason we did was because i was always straight forward and direct about my feelings regarding any situation. I didn't pretend or lie and i think that is how she became with me as well. You need to be able to have a conversation with someone to get along with them. She would scold me and we would argue but all in a healthy way. She has taught me a lot and I think that I was lucky to work with someone as established as her.

How was it working for the Indian industry? Do you prefer the Indian industry or your own industry?

Haroon: This is your industry and I love how she said this is your industry!

Maria: You know , you're the first person in all the interviews who called it Indian industry and not Bollywood. Good job! The Indian industry is a much bigger industry. They have been doing it for hundreds of years..

They are advanced, they understand the mechanics.

However as an actor you still have the same routine. You go in, you learn your script, you act. When you're working in your own industry it’s like you're at home. You're comfortable. It’s a different vibe overall.

Would you ever take the opportunity of performing in a Hollywood movie?

Mahira: Yes, absolutely. But I would have lots of limitations. I would go to them and say, i can’t do this and this and this. Haha.!

How did you guys feel about working for each other? How was the experience?

Haroon especially for you since you got to work with Mahira Khan, the leading actress of Pakistan.

Haroon: This place is a jungle! Trust me. It’s a jungle.

Let’s talk a little about the movie now.

What would you like to tell your audience about it? What should they expect?

Mahira: It’s a movie about a rape survivor. But most importantly the reason why an act of rape is done is because it is a show of power. It’s a story about these power dynamics that exist for everyone. Who is the girl? This girl is a strong girl who is hell bent to not accept the social pressures and wrong being done.
