Meet the Paducah

ADVISORY BOARD “This impressive group of leaders has a meaningful impact on the success of our company,” says Paducah Bank President Mardie Herndon. “There is no doubt that our best days are in front of us, and our Advisory Boards provide an empowering transition point for our institution.” The Paducah Bank Advisory Board meets regularly with our leadership to discuss community concerns, give insight into customer services, help identify potential areas of growth, and create opportunities for Paducah Bank to improve our local economy and the livelihood of our community.

WHITNEY CRUSE Vice President of Barge Logistics for Marquette Transportation, LLC Paducah Bank Advisory Board Chair Cruse earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University in Business Administration. She is involved in various community organizations including being an associate member of the Charity League of Paducah, a founding member of the Women in Maritime Operations (WIMOs) Organization as well as the current president for the West Kentucky Chapter of WIMOS, and a founding member of Paducah Professional Women Organization.

GEORGE WILSON Athlete, Philanthropist, Model and Actor, Motivational Speaker, George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation Paducah Bank Advisory Board Vice-Chair Wilson is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended the University of Arkansas on an academic scholarship and as a walk-on to the Arkansas Razorbacks football team. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration Management and entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent wide receiver with the Detroit Lions in 2004. He went on to play for the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans before retiring after 11 years in the NFL. His story of strength and dedication led to a career as a motivational speaker and eventually to the creation of the George Wilson S.A.F.E.T.Y. Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is to Save Adolescents from the Everyday Trials of Youth. George's humanitarianism and focus on bettering his community and the lives of others earned him the Walter Payton Man of the Year award in 2009 and 2011. In 2011, George became the recipient of the President's Council on Fitness Sports & Nutrition Community Leadership Award, which is an award given annually to individuals who improve the lives of people within their community by providing or enhancing opportunities to engage in sports, physical activities, fitness or nutrition-related programs. In 2014, George acquired beautiful farmland in western Kentucky and established Phonograph Farms. George is currently in the development stages of a new agritourism destination farm, which will bring families together to create a lifetime of memories and meaningful experiences. In 2020, George established George Wilson Experiences, a full service event company that specializes in curating events and travel experiences for their clients. George’s humanitarianism and focus is to better his community and the lives of those who comprise it.
