JOE FRAMPTOM
Chairman

Joe joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 1974. He was instrumental in the founding of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc., a one-bank holding company that acquired ownership of Paducah Bank on July 1, 1984. At that time, Joe became president of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. and president and CEO of Paducah Bank. In August 1994, Joe relinquished the title of president of Paducah Bank and became chairman and CEO. On January 1, 2022, Joe relinquished the title of CEO while remaining chairman of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company and president of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. He is a past president of the Kentucky Bankers Association, a past president of the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council, and past president of Paducah Rotary Club. He currently serves as a trustee of Paducah Junior College and as a director and past president of the Community Foundation of West Kentucky Inc. Joe graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science degree in commerce.

MARDIE HERNDON
President and CEO
Mardie joined The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2013 as president and COO with more than 26 years of banking experience. On January 1, 2022, he was named president and CEO of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company. Previously, Mardie served as president/CEO of SunTrust Bank—Macon, GA and president/CEO of SunTrust Bank— Savannah, GA, prior to assuming both regional and corporate roles with SunTrust Banks, Inc. In his prior role with SunTrust Banks, Inc., he was executive vice president, geographic head of retail banking for the midAtlantic states of South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. Mardie earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Georgia Southern University and is a graduate of the Emory University Executive Education Advanced Leadership Program. He is a past chairman of the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council and currently serves as vice-chairman of the Baptist Health Foundation Board.

DAVE DENTON
Dave joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 1981. He was instrumental in the founding of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc., a one-bank holding company that acquired ownership of Paducah Bank on July 1, 1984. At that time, David became Secretary of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. He is a 1969 graduate of the UK College of Law. In 1979, he founded what would later become the Denton Law Firm in Paducah, Kentucky. He currently serves as the managing attorney of the Denton Law Firm and oversees all management operations and professional development of the firm. He has served as the past chair of the PaducahMcCracken County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Paducah Economic Development Council. He is a former member of the Kentucky Council of Higher Education and was recently inducted into the University of Kentucky College of Law Hall of Fame.

GLENN DENTON
Glenn joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2002 and the Board of Directors of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. in 2014. Glenn is an attorney licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court as well as federal and state courts throughout Kentucky and Illinois, and he is a partner at the Denton Law Firm. He is a graduate of Centre College and Chase College of Law. Glenn is a past chairman of the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce and Paducah-McCracken County Convention and Visitors Board. In 2008, Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear appointed Glenn to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education. He was re-appointed to the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education in 2012 and confirmed both times by the Kentucky General Assembly. He served as the Council’s chair for two years before his term ended in 2017.

CONNER FRAMPTOM
Trust Portfolio Manager
Conner joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2014 and the Board of Directors of Paducah Bank Shares, Inc. in 2016. His banking career began at The Paducah Bank and Trust Company as a summer teller and as part of Paducah Bank’s Management Trainee program in January 2003. Conner moved to Nashville in 2006 and began work as a Commercial Portfolio Manager in First Bank’s Commercial and Industrial Lending Department. In August 2010, Conner returned to Paducah Bank and now serves as trust portfolio manager in Paducah Bank’s Trust Department. Conner earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Hampden-Sydney College and a master’s degree in business administration from Murray State University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. In 2021, Conner earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation. Conner is an alumnus of Leadership Paducah.

CORY HICKS
Hicks joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2023. He is the Business Director for Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Murray State University and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma. He worked for former Congressman Ed Whitfield for nearly ten years, including as the Congressman's Chief of Staff. In June 2017, Hicks was named the Business Director for the Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, which is contracted to a10-year cleanup at the DOE site. Hicks serves on the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Board and was recently voted chairman-elect. He also serves on the Paducah Economic Development Board and is also the co-chair of the Government Affairs Committee.

STEVE POWLESS
Steve Powless, fintech leader and retired Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) Chairman and CEO, was elected to The Paducah Bank and Trust Company Board of Directors in 2022. He has been an active member of CSI’s Board of Directors since 1992. During his more than 35-year career with CSI, he has held such leadership positions as vice president of corporate development, executive vice president, chief operating officer and chief executive officer. Steve served as CSI’s chief executive officer from 1999 to 2021, only the second person in the company’s history to hold the title. In addition to his leadership at CSI, Steve has served the fintech industry in various leadership roles, including as past president and director of the Association for Financial Technology (AFT). Steve earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Murray State University where he also received the Distinguished Alumni Award. He is a current director and past chairman of the Baptist Health Paducah Administrative Board of Directors and serves as chair of the Lifeline Recovery Center Board.

DR. CHARLES RANSLER
Dr. Ransler joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2002. He is a retired physician, previously serving as president of the Urology Group of Paducah from 1983-2019. Dr. Ransler has also served as the chief of surgery and president of the medical staff at Western Baptist Hospital, where he was also a member of the hospital board of directors. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Medicine with Honors degree from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Ransler completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Urology at Parkland Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Paducah and a former member of the Citizens Bank Board.

MEREDITH SCHROEDER
Meredith joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2002. She is the co-founder and owner of The American Quilter's Society, an international society with the vision of promoting the accomplishments of today's quilters. Meredith is also the founder and publisher of “American Quilter” magazine. She is the founder and chairman of The National Quilt Museum, a Rotary Club of Paducah Paul Harris Fellow, and a former board member of both the Kentucky Historical Museum and the Luther F. Carson Four Rivers Center. Meredith is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC. She has been inducted into the Quilter’s Hall of Fame, the PTHS Hall of Fame, and is a Kentucky Colonel.

MATT SNOW
Matt joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2022. He is the Baptist Health System Vice President of Support Services and has served as chair of the Paducah Bank Community Board since it began in 2018. Matt earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008. He is certified as a Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, and an LEED Accredited Professional. Matt was named the 2017 Young Leader of the Year by the Four Rivers Business Journal, the 2017 Regional Leader by the American Society of Healthcare Engineering, and a Kentucky Colonel in 2016. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Paducah and Leadership Kentucky programs. Matt is currently serving as President-Elect for the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers, the founding co-chair of the Paducah Young Professionals, the president of the Leadership Paducah Foundation, president of the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance and a United Way board member.

DR. KYLE TURNBO
Dr. Turnbo joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 2018. In 2008, he founded HealthWorks Medical, LLC in response to a community need for employer health solutions and quality occupational healthcare. Dr. Turnbo serves as the CEO and medical director of HealthWorks Medical, LLC as well as medical director for numerous local and national companies. He earned an undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry as well as his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Alabama—Birmingham and his Master of Public Health degree at Purdue University. Dr. Turnbo also has completed an occupational medicine residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently, Dr. Turnbo serves as chairman of the board for Purchase Independent Physicians ACO. He previously has served on the Purchase Health Department Board of Directors, as chairman of the board of Purchase Health Partners, and as the chief of medicine at Lourdes Hospital from 2007-2011.

SHIRLEY WALKER
Shirley joined the Board of Directors of The Paducah Bank and Trust Company in 1999. She has been a licensed funeral director and pre-need counselor at Milner and Orr Funeral Home for 25 years. Prior to that, Shirley had a 26-year career in banking as a vice president of Citizens Bank in Paducah, specializing in the areas of marketing, private banking, and the P55 Senior Citizens Program. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Banking School. Shirley is an active member of the community, serving on numerous non-profit boards through the years. Currently, she is a member of the McCracken County Board of Health and a board member of Forest Hills Village, Inc. She is also the former president of the Breakfast Lions Club.
