Advanced Italian Grammar for Educators
Learning Beyond the Classroom: Travel Course 3 GRADUATE-LEVEL PDUs • COURSE CODE: PEDD 9127
The purpose of this course is to document the process, reflect on the experience and develop curricula to integrate into the classroom in order to address problems that connect to important world issues. Coursework may be submitted in English, Spanish, French or Italian.
Gender Identity in the World Language Classroom 1 GRADUATE-LEVEL PDU • COURSE CODE: PEDD 9136
Tailored for language teachers, this course addresses a current and important topic about the ways in which teachers accommodate gender nonconforming students when teaching a language that requires its speakers to assign gender.
3 GRADUATE-LEVEL PDUs • COURSE CODE: PEDD 9139
Using explanatory videos and exercises, this independent study course provides a comprehensive review of Italian grammar, targeting problem areas of grammar for many advanced learners. Designed for students preparing for licensure exams, teachers preparing to teach advanced levels, as well as fluent teachers charged with teaching advanced grammar concepts. *Up to 30 courses offered (depending on semester)
