Joyful Giving, Lasting Legacy— experience the profound joy of making a lasting impact at Pacifica.
We are deeply thankful for our Pacifica Patrons who make a difference in the lives of our students and our community through their intentional generosity to our shared mission.
Building an exceptional high school that meaningfully integrates faith with learning to prepare the next generation for lives of faithful contribution in the home, church, and marketplace requires significant resources. Annual giving bridges the gap between tuition and our school’s annual operations, directly benefiting every student. Your generosity helps us attract and develop outstanding faculty and staff, enhance our truly unique academic program, support Triton Athletics and Arts, and expand our growing campus. Together, we are purposefully impacting thousands of lives. Your giving truly matters.
Pacifica relies on tuition, fees, annual contributions, and capital campaigns for operations and improvements, remaining truly independent without state or federal funds. This model invites families and friends to give joyfully, based on their ability.
Every Pacifica student benefits from the generosity of past and present families, alumni, and friends. For some, a Pacifica education is only possible because of these donations.
Thank you for considering the various ways to give joyfully to Pacifica. Your generosity is vital to strengthening our shared legacy and ensuring the continued success of our mission.
Pacifica is a liberal arts high school, devoted to teaching young men and women to think critically and wisely, instilling heartfelt joy and interest in learning, while encouraging lives of faith, character, and service to the glory of God.
Pacifica is dedicated to prudent financial planning. As an independent school, we receive no financial support from federal, state, or local governments. Our revenue comes solely from tuition, charitable gifts, invested reserves, and special activities.
Like all independent schools, Pacifica must raise additional funds beyond tuition to balance the budget and secure our future.
* Once the Strategic Ownership Fund is fully funded, the need for gift support for operations will decrease by approximately 15% and the Campus Operations expense will decrease by approximately 7%, and tuition and fees will cover more than 80% of the operational budget.
** Gifts include approximately $1,700,000 in financial aid awards.
*** Currently, all proceeds from the Pacifica Endowment are being reinvested into the principal fund.
Pacifica relies on the Pacifica Fund to provide 32% of the actual cost to educate our students that is not covered by tuition. Gifts to the Pacifica Fund vary in size, and every gift is important. We ask every family to prioritize Pacifica in their philanthropy. Each fall, we invite families and friends to consider making a sacrificial gift. Pledges are payable by June 30, with many contributing before December 31 for tax benefits.
Gifts at all levels are essential to equipping Pacifica to teach a generation to think and live well – to the glory of God! Several gift clubs honor our donors’ generosity.
All donors who make gifts of $2,015 or more will be members of the 2015 Society and will be invited to the Legacy Breakfast in the following fall.
Raise essential funds to attract, support, and retain missional faculty, staff, and coaches, expand offerings across all academic disciplines, enhance arts and athletics programs, and launch new academic initiatives while further developing our integrated programs in leadership, service, and scholarship.
Raise crucial funds to enrich, modernize, and optimize our campus, enhancing the student experience while contributing to our Strategic Ownership Fund which is essential for future campus expansion.
Raise mission-critical funds to offer Pacifica’s distinctive education to outstanding, mission-fit students from all neighborhoods across Orange County who otherwise could not attend.
Donations to this permanent fund provide a stable source of revenue for decades to come. Pacifica is currently pursuing its initial goal to raise $5 million in gifts and pledges with the long-term goal of raising $20 million.
Gifts and assets allocated through estate planning ensure a lasting legacy of support for Pacifica.
Aligned with the school’s campus master plan, opportunities for legacy giving through capital projects provide state-of-the-art learning environments benefiting both current and future students.
Legacy gifts are over and above donations to the annual Pacifica Fund.
Pacifica’s Giving Societies recognize members of the Triton family who generously advance the school’s mission and ministry through giving to the Pacifica Fund, the Pacifica Endowment, capital campaigns, or other funds.
Each of the giving societies distinctly focuses on priorities that make Pacifica one of the premier schools in Southern California, equipping generations of young people to think and live well throughout their adult lives.
Giving Society members partner with the school in being a force for grace and truth in a world deeply in need.
Members of the 2015 Society contribute $2,015 or more every year to the Pacifica Fund, the Pacifica Endowment, capital campaigns, or other funds to advance the school’s unique mission. Our goal is to grow the 2015 Society to have more than 200 perpetual members, committed to equipping young people to think and live well
Members of any society who annually contribute $25,000 or more are also recognized as members of the Head’s Circle for their commitment to championing and supporting the school’s mission and ministry at the highest levels.
The Triton Athletics Association (TAA) is dedicated to giving student-athletes top academic and athletic opportunities. Unlike other schools, Pacifica does not charge high fees for athletics, though we face similar costs. TAA members support us with annual donations of $100 or more to the Pacifica Fund, helping cover expenses for coaches, uniforms, gear, facilities, and more.
Members of the Triton Athletics Association, who annually contribute $10,000 or more, are also recognized as members of The Monogram Club for championing Triton Athletics at the highest levels.
