When searching for a high school, families commonly ask questions such as:
• “Does this school offer my child’s sport of interest?”
• “What AP classes are offered?”
• “What colleges do your graduates attend?”
WHILE THESE ARE ALL IMPORTANT QUESTIONS, WE BELIEVE THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK YOUR CHILD IS, “WHO DO YOU WANT TO BECOME?”
PACIFICA is a college-preparatory, liberal arts high school devoted to teaching young men and women to think critically and wisely, instilling heartfelt joy and interest in learning, while encouraging lives of faith, character, and service to the glory of God.
Thinking and living well is about making connections — both intellectual and relational. It provides students with a fuller understanding of what it means to be human and offers them the freedom to find their place in God’s created world.
At the same time, a Pacifica education provides tangible benefits, like preparation for college, career, family, and service to the church and community. By approaching education as a joy-instilling, freedom-producing journey, we provide our graduates with a foundation for success in college, life, work, and faith.
I invite you to read our Parent Info Guide to learn how Pacifica establishes this foundation in our students. Next, I encourage you to visit our campus! This is an opportunity for your family to experience Pacifica’s approach to learning and our vibrant community. We would love to begin a conversation with you, and answer your admissions questions.
Give us a call at (949) 887-2070 or send us an email at admissions@pacificaoc.org
We look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
Warmly,
Kellie Hernandez Director of Enrollment

Pacifica’s competitive Athletics program is committed to encouraging excellence on the court, in the water, on the field, and in life. In a variety of ways, Pacifica engages athletes who may be new to a sport, while simultaneously challenging athletes who are at the top of their game. We provide each student with opportunities to grow in athletic skill, experience highlevel competition, and benefit from the camaraderie that comes with school sports. Pacifica Athletics’ commitment to participation has allowed more than 80% of our student body to compete in 32 teams across a total of 20 different sports.
100% of Pacifica’s staff and faculty joyfully integrate Christian faith into the daily Pacifica experience — both in and out of the classroom. We gather each week for Chapel to worship and to learn from God’s word. Each student is placed in a Mentor Group where they talk about life, faith, relationships, and academic progress, while also receiving one-on-one mentorship. We also regularly serve one another, and our local community, through various organizations and service days
Relationships are central to a Pacifica education. Students learn that an abundant and joyful life is marked by giving and receiving grace in community. Pacifica is a campus with a vibrant Student Life teeming with activities throughout the year. Student Life at Pacifica includes the All-School Retreat, Student Leadership opportunities (Associated Students & Prefect Board), Club Rush, quarterly dances, pep rallies, Triton Ball, Wedge Week, First Friday, Friendsgiving, Chrismifica, and much more. Not only are the activities fun, but they provide a context in which students challenge themselves to do something new, pursue opportunities for personal and spiritual growth, and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.
As God is the Creator, so humans are meant to be creative. Pacifica Arts gives students the skills and opportunity to express who they are and what moves them as people. In sharing their works with the community, they learn to take risks and to add beauty to our world. Every year, Pacifica Arts produces two full-scale, stage performances, two robust visual arts galleries, and two classic choral concerts.
100% of college-bound Pacifica seniors are accepted into college institutions. Starting freshman year, the College Counseling Office provides students and their families with the resources and support necessary to walk through the college application process with confidence.
To do this, we…
Starting freshman year, the College Counseling Office offers academic planning workshops and personalized advising to help chart each student’s four-year academic progression. We discuss opportunities for AP, honors, and Dual Credit courses along with students’ academic passions, interests, and goals.
All Pacifica students take the pre-ACT during their freshman and sophomore years and the official ACT during their junior year. The PSAT is offered on-campus for juniors to compete for the National Merit Scholarship. Year-end AP testing allows students to earn college credit.
Students can explore college options at our Annual Out-of-State College Fair, participate in college campus visits, and meet regularly with college representatives who travel from institutions around the world.
Pacifica hosts grade-specific, parent information sessions, financial aid seminars, and educational webinars — all to help minimize the pressure and stress that comes with planning for college. Juniors and seniors also participate in college application and essay-writing workshops.
