G I R I N O

IInspired by Colombian pre Columbian cultures, Girino is a system of products with the purpose of bringing people together to share in celebration. It is made up of a jar inspired by the frog and its jump, its respective base in the shape of a lily pad, a set of six glasses, six tadpole spikes and six jumping glass markers inspired by poisonous frogs, each in a different color.
PROYECT CONCEPT
The frog, a symbol of abundance, well being and balance, was worshiped by pre Columbian cultures. This animal symbolized their deities, it was not only the reason for their celebration rituals, but it was also the companion to the delivery of offerings, and its poison was a tool for a deeper connection with their ancestors.

Markers so no one accidentally shares cups again. Each one has a different color inspired by a Colombian frog and its shape, with spiral eyes, allude to the poisonous family Its legs allow the user to interact with it by making it jump from side to side. S A L T E L L O

Inspired by the tadpole, these spikes feature a spiral commonly used when representing poisonous frogs in pre Columbian cultures.


Silicone rubber water lily that serves as a base for René and storage for the Girini.

Glass jar, inspired by the glass frog. Its morphology simulates a frog in jumping position.




Glass vases with a double bottom inspired by water lilies, famous plants for being the resting place of frogs.
