Perth & Angus
A big welcome everyone to my first ever newsletter. My name is Karen Alexander and I have been DA camping with my husband Jonnie Alexander since our daughter Lhana was 3 months old, with our first outing being at the Scottish Region meet at Bridge of Allan (2012).
We still laugh about that meet as myself and Jonnie did not know what to expect, so he filled all the water barrels and onboard water tank with water, trailing it all the way from Ayr, incase there was no water!! The fridge was stacked with enough food to last a month incase there were no shops nearby!! Safe to say we learnt from that, and we are now avidDA campers, getting out at every opportunity that we can.
My aim is to do a newsletter a couple of times a year, to update you with what has been happening, give information for future meets and I promise that at some point, I will hound/harass you for a little feedback, photos and maybe even ask for a few paragraphs about your favourite meet or any other topic you might like to write about. Have those cameras at the ready for me, as I don’t always remember to take photos! We can reflect on previous meets and look forward to future meets on here and have a laugh at some of the photos.
This is your newsletter everyone, so lets make it fun and interesting and keep making memories to look back on.
Happy Camping everyone!
