Personal Essay As my first year being on staff I've gotten to learn how to use different Adobe CS6 programs like InDesign, Photoshop, and a little bit of Illustrator. Knowing and understanding how to use InDesign is very important, as it is where we design and produce the pages of the yearbook. Personally, an asset I possess that contributes to the staff is being able to make deadlines. Skills that I will take with me in life would be getting things done on time, and communication skills. I was an asset to the staff and production of the yearbook by helping to run interviews, making deadlines, and doing my spreads. I have gained a lot of skills as being on staff, and some of these skills I wouldn't have learned if I hadn't been on yearbook staff. These skills will help me throughout life and my future careers.
