COB STUDENT ORGANIZATION NEWS

During the Fall 2022 semester, the Southeastern Marketing Association became an official chapter of the American Marketing Association The newly formed chapter participated in the AMA International Collegiate Conference in New Orleans. AMA officers Alexis Lowery and Grace Castellanos represented the newly formed chapter.

Pi Sigma Epsilon, chartered in 2022, was named the top new chapter in the US at the 2023 Spring Convention. The chapter members successfully achieved milestones at the regional and national level this year including - Saydie Rusk, National Speakers Competition top 5, Gabe Pevey, National Top 10 Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon Finalist, Aniya Ally, winner- Regional Speakers Competition; Jesse Demars, Regional Pro-Am 1st Runner-Up; Emily Wiltz and Isabella Distefano achieved top 10 out of 140 competitors in the National Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon; Colette Boudreaux and Emily Stark, were National Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon SemiFinalists; Emily Wilson, Leah Vallee, & Shelby Pouey earned national top 4 in the case competition; Colette Boudreaux-Interview Finalist; Jesse Demars-Top Salesperson Finalist; and Dr. April Kemp- Top Faculty Advisor Finalist. PSE supported the Lion Career Closet with a $5,000 donation raised from its annual silent auction.
