hare Your Stories of Bal Swan’s Past and Help Write its Next Chapter

he story of Bal Swan Children’s Center is one of inclusion and belonging, and as it prepares to host its 60th Annual Ball next March, Bal Swan is celebrating the stories of those who have been impacted by the center. “Since we were celebrating our 60th year, we thought a storybook theme would be really cool so we can share our story and highlight the legacy of commitment from the community,” said Debbie Kunz, executive director of Bal Swan. “This place wouldn’t exist without support from the community of Broomfield, and that’s why we decided on the theme “Our story starts with you.” The ball, which is a community favorite fundraiser for the nonprofit center, takes place March 2, 2024, at the Omni Interlocken Broomfield. The theme incorporates classic storybook tales, and attendees are invited to dress up as their favorite storybook character to add a touch of magic to the elegance and charm of the evening. “In some ways, Bal Swan is like a fairy tale,” said Kunz when asked to share her story of the impact of Bal Swan. “And yet a fairy tale really doesn’t happen without a lot of work. The magical experiences children and families have when they
