Students have the freedom to explore their passions while at OU and are encouraged to meet with a Major Exploration Coach. The Center for Major & Exploration offers free career assessments, majors and minors fairs, two eight-week courses that explore majors and careers, and more!
The Academic Success Center promotes student success through tutoring services, course assessment and placement, faculty and peer mentoring, college transition courses, and student leadership opportunities. Each year, over $280,000 is invested in student leaders and 18,000 hours of tutoring is provided through the Academic Success Center. The Academic Success Center also offers the Foundations for College Learning (UNIV 1002) course that assists students in exploring career opportunities, understanding major offerings, and identifying resources for degree completion.

Free tutoring options are offered through the Academic Success Center, the OU Math Center, the OU Writing Center, and more. Students can attend Study Nights, as well as course-specific tutoring sessions available either by drop-in or by appointment.
