I chose OU for its large size, excellent funding and research opportunities, and the strong reputation for excellence. From the time of my orientation, it did not take me long to find my community on campus. OU has a strong African and international community. My favorite organization is the National Society of Black Engineers because of the academic and professional opportunities available for all members, while having the space to advocate for international students in the College of Engineering.”
