JAGUAR CLASSIC PARTS CD ROM RANGE

Historically, significant amounts of valuable service information were never incorporated into updated service manuals, and only by also studying the supplementary information and bulletin CDs can these information gaps be bridged.

One example of this is the non-appearance of the AJ16 engine in XJS service manuals; another is the dividing out of electrical and electronic information for the increasingly complex later models into guides published separately from the service manuals.

It is therefore highly recommended that owners seek to acquire CDs covering all three of the aforementioned subjects to ensure they have as much information as necessary to effectively service their Jaguar or Daimler motor car.

Each CD Rom provides access to the original parts and service publications relevant to the title models, as held in the archive of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. While the information may be useful to Jaguar owners, please note that it was originally intended for use by trained Jaguar dealer personnel.

Because they were published on an ‘as required’ basis and often refer to more than one model, bulletins are listed in order of publication date rather than by model or by product. Some bulletins additionally refer to Jaguar models manufactured outside the dates in the title of the CD Rom. Conversely, some Jaguar models manufactured within these dates are the subjects of bulletins published at later dates - these bulletins may be found on another CD Rom in the range.
