Kvhs musical production

Kennebecasis Valley High School has a celebrated Drama Program, which is the product of our many talented students and dedicated volunteers. Each year, countless hours of planning, preparation and rehearsals are put into a Spring Musical Production. This year KVHS is proudly presenting “The Music Man”, a story about a con who goes to a rural American town posing as a band instructor and salesman. In the process of selling instruments and expertise to the townsfolk, with the intent of skipping town with the profits, Harold Hill subsequently falls in love and creates genuine confidence and relationships throughout the community. This will be an extra-special event, as this show is set exactly 100 years ago. This unique centennial anniversary will be marked not only by the performances, but by a special parade and fair in anticipation of the run. On Saturday, April 14th a parade including the amazing quartet and the entire cast will march from the High School (Robert Munro Drive) to the Quispamsis Arts and Culture Park (12 Landing Court). The community is encouraged to line the Hampton Road, join in as the parade passes by, and partake in the array of fun activities held afterwards. There will be games, a photo booth and oldfashioned treats to mark this occasion – all starting at 11:00am. The Show runs from Tuesday April 17th to Saturday, April 21st with an 8:00pm curtain each evening. Tickets are $12/balcony or $14/orchestra seating and are available at the school, Past Perfection, KV-Drugs, The Lil’ Shop of Science and Benjamin’s Books.
