REGINA MARGHERITA DI SAVOIA MIXED LODGE #1094 – IN MEMORY OF CATHY BOURASSA Juliana Hillis plans to attend Boston College to major in Business and minor in Fine Arts. She is a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar, and a National Merit Commended Student. She is the captain of the varsity soccer team, plays on the varsity tennis team, and has been a licensed soccer referee since she was 12 years old. Juliana is the recipient of the Library of Congress Award, and volunteers for Kicks for Cancer and Support our Troops. WAKEFIELD LODGE #1734 AWARD – IN MEMORY OF BERNARD R. HORN SR. Courtney Hart is currently undecided on a college, but plans to major in Biology and Health Sciences, and minor in Spanish. She is the secretary

She is the recipient of the Princeton University Junior Book Award, and volunteers with Winchester Hospital, the Best Buddies program, the Red Cross Blood Drive, and a clean-up of Lake Quannapowitt. Courtney works for Market Basket as a cashier, and the YMCA as a gymnastics instructor. WAKEFIELD LODGE #1734 AWARD Mackenzie Foley plans to attend Lasell College to major in Athletic Training. She has played on the field hockey team for four years, and played on the ice hockey team before becoming the team manager. She is a member and secretary of Best Buddies, and a member of her school’s social awareness club. Mackenzie has volunteered at road races, coaching field hockey for grades K-5, and works at The Paper Store. LAWRENCE LADIES LODGE #2026 Laura Cardarelli will be attending Saint Leo University to major in Elementary Education. She is a Yearbook Committee member and Spanish Club member. She is a Dance Convention Award Winner, and Dance Studio of Wakefield Competition Team Member and teacher. Laura volunteers

at an elementary after school program, and works as a Sales Associate at PS Aeropostale. ANGELO GIUSEPPE RONCALLI LODGE #2183 AWARD Christopher Romano is planning to attend UMass Lowell to major in Electrical Engineering. He is the leader of his school’s improv troupe, and a member of the Photo Club, Drama Club, and National Honor Society. In 2013, he won two awards for ensemble acting in a one-act play, Still Falls the Rain. He plays guitar, drums, and bass, worked as a summer intern at the North End Music and Performing Arts Center, and volunteers at the Nazzaro Community Center in the North End teaching kids how to play instruments. Christopher is the Vice President of the Wilmington Junior Lodge #3729. ALDO A. CAIRA MEMORIAL AWARD Lucas Garrity will be attending Assumption College to major in Business Management and minor in Sports Marketing. Lucas is a member of the Rotary Interact and DECA clubs, as well as the National Honor Society. He is an honor roll student, and plays on the track and field and baseball teams. He is an active member of the Wildcat Community Service Program, and the Wilmington Junior Lodge #3729, serving

as both Trustee and Financial Secretary. Lucas works at Bob’s Store, as a basketball referee, and at a sports summer camp, and volunteers as a tutor. BENEFIT INSURANCE COMMISSION AWARD – IN MEMORY OF ELIZABETH CIPOLLA Emily Troy plans to attend Framingham State University with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Psychology. Emily is the 9-11 Memorial Committee Vice President, and a member of the Rotary Club Interact, and the Wilmington High School Band. She plays field hockey and softball, and works as a lifeguard and swim instructor at Burbank YMCA in Reading, and as a hostess at Christopher’s Restaurants. Emily is the Recording Secretary of the Wilmington Junior Lodge, where she has been a member for seven years. BERNARD R. HORN SR. MEMORIAL AWARD Elizabeth Fazio is planning to attend Colby-Sawyer College to major in Nursing. She is a member of the National Honor Society, scored in the “Advanced” category on the MCAS, and was the recipient of a Spanish II Award. Elizabeth plays tennis and dances, and works as a dance assistant at Sally McDermott Dance Studio. She volunteers at the Food Pantry at North American Martyrs, and for Auburn Youth

She is Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society President, and a member of Peer Leadership, the Principal’s Advisory Council, the North Eastern Association of Student Councils Executive Board, and the Drama Club. Jessica is the recipient of the Tewksbury Rotary Club Hats Off Award, Student Council Determination Award and School Service Award, John and Abigail Adams Award, and is the two-time recipient of the Massachusetts Association of Student Councils Commonwealth Award. She volunteers for the Koats for Kids Drive, Toys for Tots Drive, Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser for Susan G. Komen for the Cure, The Cinderella Project, and TMHS Freshman Orientation. She works as a crew trainer at McDonald’s and loves to sing and act. THE HONORABLE DOMENIC J. F. RUSSO MEMORIAL AWARD Andrew Wallace plans to attend the University of New Haven to major in Chemical Engineering. He was an Advanced Placement student in Chemistry, History, Calculus, and English, and earned a place on the Honor Roll. He is a member of the varsity baseball team, and volunteers at a summer youth baseball camp. Anthony works as a store clerk at Hannaford, and was the recipient of the Rotary Club’s Hats off Award in December. PASQUALINA CIARDEILLO MEMORIAL AWARD Anthony Marraffa will attend Fitchburg State University to major in Communications Media - Film and Video. He has participated in the Salem High School News program as a director, editor, anchor, and other various crew members. He has earned a place on the High Honor Roll for four years, and is the recipient of the Exploring TV Production Award, Digital Film 2 and 3 Award, and Salem Access Television Producer Recognition Award. Anthony volunteers with St. James Church, Lifebridge Food Pantry, and Salem Access TV, and considers his special talents to be computer technical skills, photography, acting, cinematography, and editing.
