CELEBRATE THE FOURTH WITH US! SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE AT OSCAR IN JULY

WHAT RPAC

MEANS FOR YOU!

Celebrate the fourth all week-long at OSCAR! Starting Monday, July 2, we’ll have cookies and cupcakes available for our members to show our Independence Day spirit, and we’ll have them available each day of the week except for Wednesday, the fourth, when we close our office to celebrate with friends and families. We’ll have plenty for everyone. So, if you’re in the area and have a sweet tooth, stop by and say Hi!

While it’s still summer vacation, the next school year is not far away. Soon children will be venturing to the stores with their parents to pick out the notebooks, pencils and other school supplies requested by their teachers, but sadly not every child will be able to do so. The Osceola County Association of REALTORS®wants to help ensure every child is able to start their next school year equally prepared. Through our REALTORS® Care Committee, the Association will be accepting school supplies all through the month of July to distribute in collaboration with the Education Foundation of Osceola County. Items requested include: notebooks, pencils, highlighters, erasers, backpacks, rulers, scissors, markers, and glue. If you would like to contribute, you can bring any of these items to the Association office at 1105 Shady Ln, Kissimmee during regular business hours from 8am-5pm on Tuesday through Friday, and 8am to 4pm on Mondays.

“FLORIDA REALTORS’® PAC (POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE), AND THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS’® RPAC (REALTOR POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE) IS A MEANS FOR YOUR REALTOR® VOICE TO BE HEARD IN POLITICS. ” READ MORE ON PG 2.

“We want to help kids be engaged and prepared in their educations to help build stronger futures that present them more opportunities in life,” explained Committee Chair, Charlie DeCarlo. “Starting the school year with brand new supplies can help the kids be excited about beginning the new year, and motivated to learn.” We start this school drive on the heels of the success of our recent suitcase drive which collected 217 suitcases to benefit foster children in the Guardian Ad Litum program. With these new suitcases, children in the foster system are will no longer need to move their belongings in trash bags. Thank you to all who donated for this cause.
