Each year, the Osceola County Association of REALTORS® recognizes professionals who have shown exceptional service and professionalism to the industry and their community.

We need your help to identify potential nominees for our 2023 Annual REALTOR® Awards that will take place this December.

The nomination categories are Vital Industry Partner of Year, Vital Industry Partner Office of the Year, Vital Industry Partner Rising Star of the Year, Global Excellence Award, Good Neighbor Award, Public Policy

Award, Brokerage Office of the Year, REALTOR® Rising Star of the Year, REALTOR® of the Year, and Lifetime Achievement.

Nominations for a fellow member, or even for yourself, can be made at OsceolaRealtors. Org/Awards. Please remember to provide a justification for your nomination. The deadline for all nominations is Friday, October 13, 2023.

2024 Membership Renewals Will Open October 23

It is almost time to renew your membership and continue your investment with the Osceola County Association of REALTORS®. We are happy to offer our members a variety of early bird incentives! If you renew by December 15, 2023, you will be entered into the Membership Monday weekly prize drawings for a $100 gift card each week and the drawing for a FREE annual membership. You will also receive a $100 education voucher to be used for 2024 classes.

There are multiple ways you can renew your membership:

1. Log on to the members portal located on our website, osceolarealtors.org, and pay online.

2. Call (407) 846-0117 and one of our membership specialists can assist you in the renewal process.

3. Visit our office and renew in person.

4. Mail your renewal check to 1105 Cross Prairie Pkwy, Kissimmee, Florida 34744

Tips for Paying:

• If a broker wishes to pay for their agents, they must be done on an individual basis.

• We highly recommend paying your dues online. Our phones will be busy during the renewal period. We appreciate your patience.

• Before you process your payment, verify that it is your record!

Investing in one or more forms of commercial real estate is an excellent way to improve your portfolio, and it can provide you with the versatility to withstand market and economic volatility. A good tip is to explore commonly overlooked investment prospects, as they can offer entry points and create the right mix, such as parking lots.

With more than 282 million cars on US roads, finding a parking spot is often a challenge. Parking lots are low maintenance, and you can choose to operate the lot or lease it to a third-party operator. Another investment for commercial real estate is undeveloped land. Investing in undeveloped land can be a little scary if you are unsure what your next step will be. Be sure to work with a Commercial Realtor who offers consulting or development partnerships to help you get the most out of your commercial investment.

Mandatory ethics training requirements for new and continuing Realtor members was established by the National Association’s Board of Directors. The policy dictates that all active members must take a code of ethics class once every three years. The applicable dates are the same for all Realtors irrespective of when they join.
