As you enter the auditorium you feel the pressure and the drops of sweat of hundreds of fans anticipating the reveal of the next best thing since the iPhone. As people cram into the auditorium I was actually sitting comfortably in my seat at home just browsing every blog, closely checking every YouTube page in hope I would find a little hint. And after nearly a thousand clicks on the refresh button I felt like I should have been wasting this time watching a movie or just staring at the ceiling because what I saw was something I never thought was actually not a prank. I’ll try not to be biased but I am very disappointed and I honestly decided not to write this as a proper technical review but skim through what seemed to be done before, I mean where did the word “revolutionary” go? I was struck with a 4 inch screen phone that nearly looks exactly the same as its predecessor yet according to Apple is 18% thinner and 20% lighter which really isn’t a plus unless you wear extremely tight pants. I mean thank you Apple for not lying when you tagged the phone with “So much more than before. And so much less, too” Well I’ll give you all the facts and then I’ll rant about it later. With the 4 inch screen you get the superior retina display that seems to be on every Apple product now. It yields an 1136-by640-pixel resolution at 326 ppi (Pixel Per Inch) with a finger-print resistant coating on the screen. It’s a nice feature because touch phones are keen on keeping your finger prints and visibility sometimes becomes hard under the sun with all those finger prints all over your screen. From the screen to the camera, you’d get an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p full HD video recording and I’d say given the samples on the Apple official website, the quality is sensational yet there hasn’t been really any indication to whether the pictures were enhanced using computer software or not. Their biggest move was also increasing the front camera’s resolution to a whopping 720p

Apple has revolutionized the headphones to be ear friendly, they seem to have designed the headphones around the human ear making them comfortable to wear and even produce amazing sound quality. What really pushed me to scout for 3D televisions is how game developers are now incorporating a 3D version of the game within the game. Gran Turismo 5 for example has a 3D option in the menu and so is Ghost Recon Future Soldier. That in itself was something enthralling enough to want to buy a 3D TV for. I paid Samsung a visit and I was blown away by the quality. Superior products, slim designs and beautiful colors yet my wallet was the only one disappointed. With their new motion sensing extra techy majega (as a dear friend would describe it) it was just too expensive to land in my bedroom. The hunt for a decent television with nice features and a decent price tag stroke me and I decided to walk into the LG store. Well I don’t want to be drifting but LG you need better sales people honestly! The LG LM6610 Smart TV was laying there and a sales man barely moved to talk about its features. So for now consider me your LG unbiased salesman and let me walk you through it.

The LG LM6610 is available in 4 different sizes 32, 42, 47 and 55 inches. I think the 47 might be available on special order but the ones I saw in store are the 32, 42 and 55. I must say that I was impressed with the design considering I own an earlier model; the LG looked of par to the competition. It is nearly frameless with the picture oozing with quality. Fortunately they were playing a 3D demonstration and considering the price, it was extremely impressive.

Lets get technical for a little bit. The television features a full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel ratio with LED plus technology making it a much more vibrant television than most 3D televisions on the market. You’ll get 4 HDMI inputs, 3 USB inputs, one PC RGB input in addition to the regular digital audio inputs. The features are awesome honestly and I’ll take you through them one by one in the simplest language possible. First you get a Flicker-free 3D display which is much easier on the eye, I wore the glasses in store and they were surprisingly light and there wasn’t really much of an eye strain but again I must try it for 2 hours of gaming or a long 3D movie to be able to judge. The flicker-free is actually factual because the image was extremely crisp and it actually didn’t take that much time for me to feel the depth. LG claims that they’ve revolutionized the 3D technology on their television with lighter 3D glasses for your comfort. Still in the 3D realm this is the first television I am exposed to that has 3D Depth control where you, yes you, yourself control the intensity of the 3D and the depth you see. It also features a 2D to 3D conversion all built in where you can convert normal 2D movies to sensational 3D. They’ve also applied their 3D obsession to the sound where you get Virtual surround sound for an unforgettable Thursday night movie experience. Since you’re getting a Smart Television with the LG Home dash you can find 3D movies and 3D content with a touch of a button which brings me to the remote control. Yes Samsung gives you a Kinect experience but LG gives you a Wii experience if it makes sense. The remote control follows your gestures and it features scrolling making it more of a Magic Mouse than a remote control which I found pretty decent and innovative (I honestly like to hold remote controls and feel in control =P). There’s an app I found on the Android market that’s

called the LG magic remote and yes you can control your television through your smart phone (HOW COOL IS THAT =D). With the LM6610 you can browse content on your Tablet, Smart Phone or even Laptop and play videos in a cordless manner, thanks to a Wifi enabled television. Hardcore gamers out there who get sick and tired of the split screen and always lose games because you always get mixed up which screen to look at, the LG features a Dual Play screen. What this does is if you’re sitting at the right of the television you’ll see a full screen of player 1 and if you’re sitting on the left you’ll see another full screen of player 2. No more getting mixed up because now two players can control their characters or cars in full screen which is extremely decent. Some cars feature this technology in their LCD head units, the driver sees his car’s information while the passenger sees a video or the music list. I think the games have to feature a dual play option for the feature to work properly. The Smart television has a decent dashboard with social media enabled allowing you to update your status and chat seamlessly while watching your favorite content. It honestly impressed me even more when I knew that I am getting all these features in a 42 inch screen for the price of 7000 EGP. Well because I want to play a fair game too, I would say that it is not as glamorous as the Samsung models but honestly speaking for the price tag it is a great bargain with many innovative and current features that will keep you happy for as long as it lives =).

Technology helps you sometimes to achieve meetings, decisions, but it does not help you to make your baby sleep :)

What is the secret of your beauty?

No great secret I just enjoy being myself, I like the way I look am comfortable with what God gave me, I don’t like to change my features and try to be as natural as possible.

What is the most film that impressed you with its technique? Why?

I like Troy movie technique, because it’s very realistic as if everything is really true, the war scenes, the fights, and the effect of every detail makes you believe that this really happened the same way.

Do you think technology could be the reason for a film to win the Oscar?

I don’t think technology could be the reason for a movie to win an Oscar, if the human feelings and gestures are not available it could be a movie without soul. What matters is the story, the director, the actors with their feelings and the technology that could really help in the completion of the work of art

Well definitely technology helps beauty and everything around!! Thanks to technology now we can take online courses, visualize videos for me it always helps getting new ideas for my work , even nail polish now there is the gelish technology ,there is the nail art printer also, you have the eyelashes extensions ,the eyelashes curler, the medical tattoo machine,… everything!!

As an artist what are your advices to our reader’s men and women to do to be always attractive? My advice is,always wear your beautiful smile even if u have bad teeth :p and just go! That’s the best thing ever trust me! And just be yourself and do whatever comes in your mind! Don’t be afraid of it or what other people think of it! DO NOT READ BEAUTY MAGAZINES,THEY WILL ONLY MAKE U FEEL UGLY!

Creating a closet or wardrobe database, like Cher’s in ‘Clueless’, is a fantastic way to help you remember the items hiding in the back of the closet that you don’t wear as often and may help you pack or get dressed faster in the morning. A database for your wardrobe may even help curb your shopping itch! Specialized applications exist for the computer and mobile devices, but since Picasa is free, possibly even more versatile, and able to handle this project very well, it’s an ideal way to fix your wardrobe with ease.

Prepare to photograph all of your clothing.

Find a well-lit neutral blank wall or a door on which to mount a hook (or affix a temporary over-the-door hook). Preferably choose a position with a lot of natural light. Hang each piece on a hanger individually.

Photograph each item, making sure that the camera is in focus.

Do not use the camera flash (you can adjust the lighting later in Picasa). Try to frame each article so that there is a little empty space around it. Some particular things to watch for include:

For shoes: Find a well-lit patch of clear floor space, preferably with a lot of natural light. Place each pair in a ‘V’ shape and photograph such that you can see one shoe from the front and one shoe from the side, then proceed as suggested above. For purses: Hang directly on the door or wall hook, and photograph as suggested above

You may also save photos of new clothing directly from the stores’ websites! Right-click and select ‘save as’, or take a screen shot (using the ‘Print Screen’ button on your keyboard) and crop the image. This is best for any new clothing you acquire after having started your database, and will make it really easy to keep updated.

Download Picasa. You can download Picasa for free at http://picasa. google.com/. Once downloaded, install it on your computer. Import your photos

Edit your photos in Picasa. Double-click on an image to start. Use the ‘neutral color picker’ on the ‘Tuning’ tab (to the left) and pick a blank wall (or door) space next to the hanging article. You may want to play with the ‘Highlights’ slider. On the ‘Basic Fixes’ tab, use the ‘Straighten’ feature to orient your photo, ‘Crop’ to cut out as much surrounding distractions, and finally ‘Auto Contrast’ to bring out the article’s coloring. If the article has detailing or texture that is not easily seen in the photo, adjust the ‘Fill Light’ slider to the right just until you can better make out the article’s features.

Create outfit picture collages.

In ‘Library’ view, select multiple thumbnails to create outfits using the ‘Picture Collage’ feature (under ‘Create’). You can use the search bar to search for multiple tags at a time (for example, ‘summer work green’). Select multiple items by holding down the CONTROL key on the keyboard as you click. You will only be able to select multiple items if they are all in the same folder, but you can also add more items to your collage (by clicking on the ‘Clips’ tab on the left and select ‘Get More’). o Arrange the clips on the canvas to the right. o Don’t forget to click ‘Create Collage’ (on the bottom left) when you’re done! o Tag your outfits with descriptive words. You can tag your outfit collages with the date on which they were worn. 9- Search your Picasa organized wardrobe with ease. Sit back, open your database and you can now search for the perfect outfit with ease! o Search for particular items to wear or to match using the tags you’ve created.

Tag the photos in Picasa. Using the ‘Tag’ tool, to the right (if it is not visible, select ‘Tags’ under ‘View’ in the toolbar), add descriptive words for each item. Tag every article with ‘wardrobe’, so you can more easily distinguish it from the rest of your photos. o Include short tags for colors, fabric, type of article ( ‘skirt’, ‘blouse’), seasons, designer, store, and any terms that you personally use to describe the article (for example, ‘first date’, ‘favorite’, ‘Mike’s wedding’). o Most importantly, tag each item with all the contexts in which you’d wear it (for example, ‘work’, ‘casual’, ‘dressy’, ‘formal’, ‘club’, ‘school’). o You can include multiple tags for each category (for example, ‘blouse’, ‘shirt’, and ‘top’; ‘summer’ and ‘spring’), just make sure to include them each as separate tags. You can add more tags later! o You can also tag your photos with ‘needs alteration’, ‘donate’, ‘needs repair’, or ‘needs cleaning’, so you know what to grab on your way to the thrift store or the dry cleaner’s

It is the year 2050 and I just teleported into the hovering seat in Skytropolis waiting for the amazing Gazord 56671’s key note in the unbelievable auditorium in the form of a hologram image. People around start teleporting one after the other as I think about a cup of coffee and I just find it in my hands due to the microchip receptors I have installed in my brain converting my thoughts into concrete objects. Well I found that on Ebay but sometimes it isn’t that handy especially when you’re in a library thinking about those monkeys with the snares from the 1980’s. In a fraction of a second two dolphins swim in laser emitted water wearing bow ties as they announce the beginning of the ceremony using voice boxes connected to brain neurons. We are met with a holographic image of a presenter in his 40’s, looks like Mark Bobs the creator of the best

electronics brand to date. The Gazord 56671 is 90% thinner than its predecessor which made it hard for us to see it on stage yet when powered on we were all in awe of how beautiful it is. It is a microscopic thin film that really didn’t mean anything until Bobs said “On” all of a sudden some sort of atomic reaction happened and in a millisecond we saw the screen form in front of us. It had a 6” screen expandable to 42” inch in case you wanted to watch a movie at home. According to bobs all you had to do is hold the opposing edges of the screen and pull them apart to expand and do the opposite to retract. The phone features a Mimic© powered screen and the Mimic© copies natures’ colors and mimics them perfectly that you don’t know what’s real and what isn’t anymore!

Bobs demonstrated how the Gazord can capture its owners’ personality through the Mini-Me© feature and automatically reply to phone calls, text messages and even instant chats. Bobs mentioned how the Gazord communicated with his wife for two hours while he was playing video games with his friends and the

woman didn’t notice a thing. One of the features Bobs was excited about in the keynote was the IWS© feature and when asked by a Robotic journalist Bobs replied, “It stands for, I will survive and what it does is the phone becomes self dependant where it updates itself, removes viruses, charges itself and adapts to the environment where it can increase its own temperature in snowy environments to avoid battery crash.” The break through is however how the phone can always return back to its owner in case of loss. The phone comes with a microchip that remains with the owner and through satellite imagery the phone locates the owner and returns via robotic wheels. When asked about phone security, Bobs added “The phone goes in stealth mode where it remains unseen if left unattended where it carefully copies the environment beneath or around and displays it flawlessly and it is nearly impossible for the phone to be stolen due to IWS©” The feature was met with a lot of applause from the extremely hyper active audience I was honestly impressed with the Gazord 56671 and upon teleporting back home I was thinking now what would the Gazord 56672 be like? My microchip receptors failed to find me an answer. I wake up realizing that it’s 2012 and the next big thing since the iPhone is yet another iPhone. Fade to black as we hear theatrical music!
