Winter Darts Series

The Winter Series is well underway with nearly reaching the halfway point. ORSSC teams continue to perform strongly. In some cases, the leader board isn’t doing justice for some teams with last place beating the leading team regularly. At the end of the day though it’s all about consistency and in my case pure “luck” getting the winning pegs.

It has been great to see some of the C-grade players stepping up to help out our B-grade team who were short on numbers.

Bluewater Darts Association runs the competition and will celebrate their 40th year in September 2022.

Series highlights so far

• Chris Gaston aka “Kiwi’” 151 Peg (should be in the World Darts Series”) – OR Lime 1

• Steve Robertson aka “Pirate” – Leading number of 180’s - OR Lime 1

• Drew Harvey – Stepping up to fill in for B grade and winning his singles games

• C Grade – 4 OR White players in the top 10 season averages (Gary Bell 4th, Terry Bell 5th,

Brad Kull 7th & Drew Harvey (9th)

• Mary Ellis cleaning up with 3 pegs against the competition leaders MACC White
