General Manager's Report

Hello members,
I have to say I am looking forward to spring weather and the summer season full of festivities.
Events
We are kicking off the Spring/Summer events with a “Spring By The Sea” on the 1st of October. This will have plenty of entertainment, games, activities for kids and adults and a special spring menu. Open Day – Opening of the Seasons will be on the 9th of October. Back by popular demand will be another “Bali By The Sea 3.0” event on the 12th of November. We welcome back the Bali Community to join forces and make us feel like we are in Bali without needing to fly anywhere.
Committee
I would like to welcome our new committee members following our AGM. It’s great to see some new faces. Plus, a big thank you to the retiring members of the committee. The Rear Commodores as well as Peter Hawker and Dave Harnett who have both done an amazing job and have been very supportive in my first year at the club.
Playground
We will have a brand-new playground in September; this will be a highlight for the young ones to enjoy the club even more. Please be patient as there may be a few days that kids will not be able to use the playground whilst the installation is taking place.
POS
Our new POS is finally installed. We trust this will help with more efficient service and less waiting times with better technology. Members can now order food from any till. Please be patient as with any major systems upgrade, there might be a few bumps in the road.
Annual Member Subscription Fees
It’s that time of the year again, all the invoices are being sent in the mail as they are due on the 1st of September. Please pay as soon as you can, we will give you a few months’ grace.
Staff
We have been very lucky always to have enough staff to serve all the members, but staff do come and go a lot in this industry. Our core team is stable and doing an amazing job. Please be respectful to anything they ask, that includes calling last drinks!
Currently, we are looking for: - Assistant Bar Manager/Duty Manager - Sous Chef/Senior Chef - Yardy/Maintenance General Hand
