The Orpington 1st calendar for 2020 is now available from Orpington library in exchange for donations to Bromley Homeless Shelter. The sixth Orpington 1st Calendar features shots taken at town centre events alongside selected entries into the Orpington Photography Competition 2019. The competition encourages residents to take a celebratory look at their surroundings and invites budding or more accomplished photographers to send in their snaps taken anywhere within a BR5 or BR6 postcode location. This year's winner was selected as Stephen Sangster whose photo of Orpington Library takes pride of place on the front cover.
