2018-2019 ORNL FCU SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Applications are being accepted through the ORNL FCU Scholarship Program for the 2018–2019 school year. The Scholarship Program awards a minimum of two $1,000 scholarships each school year to a deserving student/ member that excels in education and social merit.

Members can find the application on the Credit Union's website at ornlfcu.com or an application can be picked up at any ORNL FCU branch location.

Completed applications must be postmarked and mailed no later than March 1, 2018 to: ORNL Federal Credit Union ATTN: Marketing Department 2077 Town Center Blvd. Suite #204 Knoxville, TN 37922

Applicants are selected by the UT General Scholarship Committee and will be notified directly by the University of Tennessee Financial Aid Office by late May or early June.

The $1,000 scholarships can be used for tuition, books, or other school related expenses. Only members of ORNL FCU and members of their families who are enrolled or plan to enroll in the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and who are pursuing a 4-year degree are eligible to compete for the scholarships. All applicants must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) coded for the University of Tennessee. The FAFSA must filed by February 1, 2018.

70TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERSHIP On Thursday, March 8 at 6:00 PM, ORNL Federal Credit Union will hold its Annual Meeting of the Membership at the Northshore Branch, located at 2077 Town Center Boulevard in Knoxville. EMPLOYEE APPRECIATION WEEK Thank you to members for helping celebrate all employees during Employee Appreciation Week in October 2017! We appreciate and are grateful for each of our employees.

Thank you to all the members who recognized their favorite employee(s) for their hard work and dedication.

The fun-filled week included raising funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), which directly benefits East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. Over $8,000 was raised through yellow balloon icon sales, member and employee donations, and the Shop for Miracles program.

We are also excited to announce that dollars raised during this week were matched by CO-OP Financial Services, which resulted in over $16,000 being donated to ETCH! Thank you for joining us for Employee Appreciation Week and for making miracles happen at our local children’s hospital!
