ORIOLE LEGEND… Oriole Pride features Springville alumni who still have ties to the community. This week we feature Oriole Legend, Raquel Wilson: Maiden Name: Bragg Class of: 1992 Sports you played in high school: Track, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball Best High School Memory: Pitching a NO Hitter In Softball. Nick Name : Rock Craziest thing you ever did: I was always a good girl...it would have to be T-peeing coaches cars/yards and putting forks all over in their yards. College attended: Mt. Mercy...I played 4 years of Softball (pitcher/3rd base) Favorite Teacher: Mr. Semler. He was always so much fun and made learning easy. How many kids in your class? We had 29 kids in my class Who was your heart throb: I was in love with Bon Jovi. First Car: I always had to drive what ever car was parked in the back of the driveway. I remember driving a black, Buick Skylark. What did you want to be when you grew up: I always wanted to do something in the law enforcement field. If you could have one superpower, what would you choose? The kids always ask me this...mine would be to be invisible. This way I could go places and see what’s really going on without anyone knowing. Spouse and children: Husband Pete, Kids: Bryce (10), Lauren (8), Kayd (3). Advice to Springville students: Do well at school because an education is very important later in life. But most importantly have fun and be a kid while you can. Life goes by so fast and soon enough you will be wishing you didn't grow up so fast.
