Backwoods Brewing Company opened its first Tualatin Valley location in downtown Hillsboro. Its new brewpub offers their diverse craft beers, including lagers, IPAs, stouts, ambers, ales and more. The Hillsboro pub’s food menu offers appetizers, salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers and more.

BinaryBrewing.co is a start-up craft brewery with a focus for developing new experimental beers. This brewery, named for the owners’ love of technology and craft beer, has amassed a cult following with its modern twists on classic styles of brewing.

Breakside Brewery brings their beloved brews to its brandnew beer garden in historic downtown Beaverton. The Beaverton location has an outdoor bar, 200 outside seats that are partially covered and heated for the winter, and fire pits. Cooper Mountain Ale Works started in a Beaverton garage as a way to create beers that were hard to find locally. In 2020, the brewery moved into a space in downtown Tigard and is a family-friendly brewpub with a wide range of crafted beer and small batches of specialty beers.

G-Man Brewery is a relative newcomer to Tualatin Valley’s craft beer scene. G-Man’s beers were created out of passion and the pursuit of the perfect beer. These brews run the gamut from a berry lager to effervescent Hefeweizen or tropical hazy IPA.

Great Notion Brewing is a Portland-based, award-winning brewery. The brewery offers a wide range of brews, including hazy, fruit-forward IPAs and “culinary-inspired” sours and stouts. Its newest taproom in Beaverton features an elevated outdoor beer garden accessible through roll-up garage doors providing the perfect spot to enjoy a pint.

Hop Cycle is a nano brewery serving up craft beer and barbecue. In addition to Hop Cycle’s hand-crafted seasonal ales, the taproom features rotating guest taps and growler fills from local breweries. Located close to the trailhead of the Banks-Vernonia State Trail, it is a cyclist-friendly spot with bike parking.

Lazy Days Brewing, which purchased the former Ex Novo Brewing Co, opened January 2024. The new brewery features its own craft brews, as well as some brews made from recipes handed down from Ex Novo. From hop-forward to malt-forward, Lazy Days craft beers pair well with their Detroit-style pizza.. Mazama Brewing is a family-owned brewery out of Corvallis that specializes in award-winning European beers. Cornelius Pass Roadhouse brews up McMenamins’ ales on a pioneer homestead settled in the 1850s. The site’s original structures have been preserved so that guests can enjoy the rustic atmosphere while partaking in one of the options on the lunch or dinner menu and sampling McMenamins’ ales, wines and spirits. Oak Hills Brewpub invites guests to watch McMenamins’ brewers hard at work among the colorfully painted brew tanks as you sit back with a fresh pint. The brewpub is open daily for lunch and dinner and families are welcome.

John Barleycorns, inspired by an old pump station in Hawaii, is a lofty building with indoor and outdoor seating excellent for a handcrafted pint. The brewery and brewpub opened in Tigard in 1996, and was the first pub that McMenamins built from the ground up.

The Old Market Pub & Brewery (OMP) opened in 1994, and just recently celebrated its 25th anniversary becoming one of the oldest micro-breweries in the Portland area. The brewpub offers OMP’s standard 10-beer lineup with three to five seasonals from its own on-site organic brewery.

Ridgewalker Brewing is a micro-brewery operating out of Forest Grove’s downtown core near Pacific University. The brewery’s hop-forward American-style ales are delicious and refreshing. Ridgewalker features 32 taps of their crafted beers and a menu of pub-style favorites.

Slowdrift Brewing Company is a nano-brewery located off Highway 6, outside of Forest Grove and along the Wilson River. Slowdrift Brewing crafts more than ten brews including IPAs, Pale Ales, Porters and Hefeweizen, all made with natural spring water. Slowdrift’s taproom is family and dog-friendly.

Steeplejack’s third location houses an onsite brewery and large taproom featuring a fireplace and private seating. Behind-the-scenes tours of the brewhouse and canning lines are available. The brewery is family-friendly and dogs are welcome on their outside seating patio.

Stickmen Brewing’s second production facility and barrel room, complete with a taproom, is located in the city of Tualatin. The Beer Hall features 28 taps of a variety of craft brews, including year-round, seasonal and experimental beers, as well as barrel-aged and nitro beers, which pair nicely with the in-house made wood-fired pizzas.

Founded in 2013, Three Mugs Brewing is a dog-friendly and veteran-owned brewery, crafts a variety of beers—from light and hoppy to dark and malty. In addition to its tasty brews, Three Mugs also makes a house-made hard seltzer.

Von Ebert Brewing’s Beaverton location is a pizza restaurant that serves its craft brews alongside its hand-tossed pies. Von Ebert brews a variety of styles, including pilsners, IPAs and oak-aged beers.

Located in charming downtown Forest Grove, adjacent to Pacific University, Bull Run Cider’s taproom is an industrial-cool space that provides an unpretentious environment for tasting the best of the best of Oregon hard ciders. A beer hall inspired by their English Roots, Portland Cider’s Westside Pub is Portland Cider Co.’s newest location. With 24 ciders on tap, and 8-10 guest beers on tap at any given time, the new location offers a modern beer hall-style with an open layout and communal seating.
