Colonial Life Dental PPO updates coming October 17
Effective October 17, the name of the provider network for Colonial Life Dental PPO will change to Unum Dental Network in most states. This new network name will improve network recognition and make it easier for members to schedule appointments with contracted providers.
As of October 17, 2022, the dental and vision member portal will be updated and mobile responsive to automatically fit any device. As a result, the AlwaysAssist mobile application will no longer be available.
The following questions are answered on Propr:
• Are the Providers within the network changing?
• Will a policyholder's member number or policy number change?
• Do policyholders need to change providers?
• Do existing policyholders need a new ID card to use their benefits?
• Will policyholders that enroll in dental after October 17, 2022, receive ID cards with the new network name?
• Are there other changes that I should be aware of?
• If a policyholder has a question that has not been answered here, where should I direct them?
