Research Fragment : Shape of Thought Product of intellectual performance (poip part 3). The exhibition will present a fragment of research on the topic “The Thinking Process and the Shapes It Takes.” The process of thinking is dynamic, has no beginning or end and yet this is an extremely interesting topic. Each work from the series of art objects “Forms of Thought” is just a fragment, but which, in turn, has its own character, mood and deep meaning. Note: The artist keeps a diary dedicated to the artist’s research into the formation of thinking. The form changes throughout the entire process, it is fluid. How to complete such a drawing? This is the main idea, you need to find a middle ground, the drawing must remain alive, relevant and at the same time become formed and complete. An indicator of completion is a kind of logical end and at the same time the beginning of a new thought based on the experience gained. The diary contains drawings and many notes. The process of making each sketch takes from 30 minutes to 4 hours. It takes more than a month to complete one painting. This is a more detailed and global process of comprehension. Since long ago and until this very moment I have been truly captivated by the structure of the world and its rich spiritual and material components. It all started with me illustrating my fantasies and ideas. Gradually, the goals became more and more complex, my experience broadened and these days the meaning of art to me is a combination of ideas, beauty and truth. I would like to tell you a little bit more about my creative approach. As a rule, I don’t dwell on one technique or style, as my work is more about the process. My priority is to convey and describe the meaning of the work. It is necessary to think through every detail of every piece I create. And no less important is the fact that we can learn any technique and any style. This exploration of techniques contributes to the development of new methods. This part of the creative process, being demanding time wise, brings me great joy. Another aspect of my creative work is connecting to the limitless few of quality information from competing areas, as it renders my creative process even more fascinating. Here I would like to develop some ideas and what they mean to me. First of all, it’s a constant relentless search for new methods, for instance using materials in an unexpected way to achieve a perfect desired effect of materiality and spirituality, or, step by step, systematically, doing exactly the opposite from what was intended. Variability in art comes with understanding different areas of knowledge. The process does not cease to be fascinating and with each new step on my creative way I expand my experience to embrace new artistic directions and activities. Nowadays they include: jewelry, paintings, lamps, clothing. In each of them I try to realize their full potential. The statement that best represents me as an artist is “It is essential for an individual to think!” Think outside the box, think progressively, think in images and think in words. Challenge yourself with each new achievement and you will truly enjoy this process. (Kira Degree)

Our skin is an object and a symbol that has meaning in biology, philosophy, psychology, neurobiology, cinematography and other areas of human existence. Biology The skin protects the body from a wide range of external influences, participates in respiration, thermoregulation, metabolic and many other processes. In addition, the skin represents a massive receptive field for various types of superficial sensations (pain, pressure, temperature). Psychology But what is skin for us in the physical sense? Firstly, the skin is the border between a person and the world around him, between “I” and “not I”. It is directly through the case that we receive our first contact with the world when we are born. Secondly, this comes from the above, the skin is our organ of contact. Neurobiology Skin reaction to stress: Under the influence of stress hormones, metalloproteinases are activated - cyclic enzymes that destroy collagen and elastin. Blood circulation in the skin worsens, as stress hormones cause vasospasm. General and local immunity decreases, so inflammation and infections on the skin become more frequent. Leather is a symbolic element in my work. In this art object, tied knots at intersections symbolize gaining experience. Experience, which we already know, is both a physical and a mental process. Each node is a set of processes occurring along the path of gaining experience.
