YLS on the Move

is not slowing down this year! On February 10, 2023, YLS joined forces with the Federal Bar Association for a Federal Practice for the Occasional Practitioner CLE at the George C. Young Federal Annex Courthouse. Judge Berger, Magistrate Judge Kidd, and Attorney Gregory Herbert provided attendees with valuable information on the ins and outs of federal court practice. On February 17, 2023, YLS held its February luncheon. Jim Shimberg, Esquire joined us all the way from Tampa, Florida. He provided us insight on his legal journey, which started at Holland & Knight to now having his own practice and serving as General Counsel for Vinik Sports Group, the parent company of the Tampa Bay Lightning! Thank you Mr. Shimberg for sharing all of your experiences throughout your career!

YLSOn February 22, 2023, YLS hosted its annual Evening with the Judiciary. Our Central Florida judges, lawyers, and law students enjoyed an evening at the Winter Park Library and Events Center filled with food, drinks, and great networking. We had over 100 people in attendance which made for great networking for all. Thank you to all of our sponsors for this wonderful event!
