New president of IAEVG: Gert van Brusselin tervehdys

Dear Finnish colleagues!

As the new President of IAEVG, I very much appreciate this opportunity to share some of my intentions and thoughts with you through this medium. My vision on IAEVG's development goals for the coming years is mainly inspired by my years of experience in the wonderful field of career guidance and counselling. This profession can and must play an important role in the sustainable development of people in their work and lives worldwide. For almost 70 years, IAEVG has played a role in this domain at world level, but this role needs to be fulfilled with more conviction and presence.

I myself have experience as an entrepreneur in our field and I look forward to giving our Association a prominent position again through entrepreneurial spirit and social entrepreneurship. In addition, I think it is important to strive for solidarity and visibility towards the members, the affiliated associations, institutes and individual professionals, but also towards external organisations. I see cooperating and co-creation as means to strengthen our relations.

I would also like to invite you to share your wishes and ideas with me and the other Board members. I hope that in this way we will be able to shape a more intensive mutual relationship in the future. After all, we are all part of the same global community of passionate career professionals. I wish you all the best and a pleasant day at work!
