Your gift of clean water is making Christmas brighter

Young Anbil (age 7) woke from her sleep burning up with fever. Sharp pains tore through her stomach, and she began vomiting. She needed medical attention. But in the middle of the night, no public transportation was available from their community of Kaquingora to the nearest hospital in Puno, Peru, nearly an hour away. Her mother, Nieves, panicked. What would happen to her little girl? She feared the worst but already suspected the cause. The small river that ran through the middle of their village and provided their drinking water wasn’t clean. Anbil and her older brother frequently got sick. During the dry season, when levels were lower, the water became muddier and even more contaminated. Although Nieves searched for natural pools along the river, the water they brought home wasn’t any better.

That terrifying night, local police took Nieves and Anbil to the hospital, where Anbil got the medicine she needed. But without help, Nieve knew it would happen again. Next time, the outcome might have been very different—but caring friends like you intervened.
Water is a daily necessity for Anbil’s family. They need it not only for drinking, cooking, and cleaning, but also to grow food and care for their animals. The lack of running water also meant they had no sanitary bathroom facilities, forcing Anbil and her brother to walk up into the hills to relieve themselves.
Our generous partners could not ignore such need and brought this struggling family—and their entire community—comfort

and joy! The new clean water system you helped provide pumps filtered water to a faucet outside their home. And there’s more— sanitary bathrooms, equipped with a sink and toilet, so little Anbil no longer has to search for a private place in the hills. Your love and care restored their dignity.
Nieves is so grateful for all you have done. “Water has arrived at our home,” she told us. “My children will no longer get sick. We will have a much better quality of life.”
You blessed this family in even more ways. Compassionate donors also gave Nieves a greenhouse, so that she can grow more fresh vegetables and

improve their diets. Today, they are able to sell the extra produce for additional income. Your kindness also opened the door for them to experience God’s love and peace through our
animated Bible series, Superbook. That is the best Christmas present you could give Nieves and her family. Thank you for sending clean water and so much more to those in dire need!

“We will be healthy, happy, and joyful. I am deeply thankful from the bottom of my heart. ”

Because of friends like you, Charlyn found relief in a desperate hour
The last few months have brought heartache and pain to so many living in the Philippines. Soon after massive flooding engulfed entire communities in the region of Cebu, a deadly 6.9-magnitude earthquake rattled Bogo City in the same province, claiming dozens of lives. Your love was right there—providing comfort in their time of need.
For three years, Charlyn and her family have lived in a flood-prone community near a creek. But this year, the water surged higher than ever before. “The water reached up to our necks,” Charlyn recalled, describing how they were forced to evacuate to a temporary shelter.
Together, Charlyn and her husband earn less than $75 a week—barely enough to meet their family’s basic needs, let alone weather a disaster. Even from the evacuation center, Charlyn had to wade through the floodwaters to get to work or buy essentials. “I wear boots, but sometimes the water is so high it seeps in,” she said. The situation was further complicated by Charlyn’s open wounds and a diabetic condition, making the risk of infection high.

But thanks to friends like you, Operation Blessing responded quickly with critical supplies and much-needed medical care. Charlyn received antibiotics to treat her wounds and prevent dangerous infection. “I felt better after taking the medicine,” she said. “The pain from my wound lessened, and now I feel relief.”
Your compassion didn’t stop there. When the earthquake struck, Francine (age 8) and her partially deaf mother were trapped underneath the rubble. They had lost their home, but thankfully, their lives were spared. They found shelter with three

other families, all crowded into a single home.
When our team arrived, they only had 20 liters of water left for 11 people. Because of your care, we were able to deliver five jerry cans filled with clean water to ensure they had enough to drink.
Thanks to you, peace replaced panic and suffering turned to healing for the people of the Philippines. From food bags and solar lamps to help families navigate the darkness to refreshing water amid the rubble, you are bringing hope to those who need it most.
Unwanted. That’s what her father once called her.
In the cold foothills of Karakol, Kyrgyzstan, a quiet battle was taking place inside Alina. To most, she seemed like a typical teenager, but beneath the surface, her heart ached with loneliness. For years, she carried the quiet belief that she was a mistake, a burden, someone born into the world but never truly welcome.

Alina grew up as the only child in a three-generation household. Her mother worked full time to provide, while her grandmother, disabled and homebound, required daily care. From a young age, Alina stepped in. She cleaned the house, looked after her grandmother, and held everything together. She never complained, but the weight of responsibility slowly shaped her identity, and her father’s words rang deep in her heart. She didn’t feel like a loved and wanted teenager, only someone filling a role.

When the team at Orphan’s Promise Empower Training Center first met Alina, they saw strength on the surface, but they also sensed a deep sadness behind her smile.
They prayed for her and gently invited her into one-on-one mentorship sessions. Little by little, she began to let her guard down.
And then one day, something beautiful happened. As the team shared about God’s love and how He calls us chosen and cherished, Alina’s tears began to fall. That moment marked the beginning of her transformation. Because of friends like you, Alina received the food she needed, educational support to help her move forward, and the

kind of spiritual guidance that offered healing and hope. Over time, she began to smile more. She made new friends. And eventually, she made the decision to dedicate her life to Jesus.

In her own words, she now knows she is “not a mistake, not a burden, but a miracle of God.”
“Not a mistake, not a burden, but a miracle.”

YOU RESTORED WHAT CATARACTS
For most parents, nothing brings them greater joy than caring for their children. They raise their little ones, helping them walk on their own. Then, they support grown children as they start their own families. The hearts of parents are built to give.
That’s why, for people like Sanda and Laraba in Nigeria, the diagnosis of cataracts was so heavy to bear. Both still in their 60s, they found their independence slipping away. Sanda’s eyesight grew so clouded he could no longer work on his farm or mend shoes. His wife and children struggled to fill the gap. For Laraba, fading vision meant she could no longer manage her small trading business. Instead of caring for her family, her children were caring for her.

What once felt like a hopeless dream is now a reality thanks to the outpouring of kindness from friends like you.
Both Sanda and Laraba faced this devastating reality. And sadly, according to the World Health Organization, in Africa only 14 percent of people who need cataract surgery ever receive it.
But thanks to the compassion of friends like you, Sanda, Laraba, and 25 others in Nigeria had their vision, their lives, and their peace restored.
Today, Sanda tends to his farm and reads his Bible. Laraba is energized and free from feeling trapped. What once felt like a hopeless dream is now a reality
thanks to the outpouring of kindness from friends like you. Your love truly gives comfort and peace, not only to those like Laraba and Sanda, but to the generations that follow.

ife can change in an instant. For Gail, all it took was a fall, an injury … and the formerly self-reliant nursing aide found herself unable to continue in her profession. Living with disability and diabetes, Gail quickly learned what it’s like to be down to your last dollar.
Without a job, she soon discovered that, after paying her bills each month, she had almost nothing left over for the basics. Like hearty, nourishing food.
And that’s where compassionate friends like you came in. Gail was able to enjoy healthy meals again through the food ministry at All Generations Church, an Operation Blessing partner. Their outreach beautifully embodies the pastor’s vision of “service beyond Sundays.”
The fresh produce and meats Gail receives not only help her survive but also give her a sense of purpose and dignity. “I was so happy because last month we got eggs here,” she said. “Operation Blessing has held everything together for all of us.”

Recently, thanks to you, All Generations’ food ministry reached 158 people across 57 households in just one month. Many recipients support extended families including grandchildren and adult children—helping all involved realize how the healing power of food can build a closer community.
“This is the epitome of Christianity,” one volunteer affirmed. “This is what Jesus meant.”
Across the country, as families in need are blessed and fed through Operation Blessing and partner ministries like All Generations Church, you continue to extend comfort and joy.
