PROMISE PORTRAITS OF

A life transformed through a house of love

When Diara was very young, her mother passed away. Without anyone to care for her, Diara’s future could have been filled with hardship and loneliness. But thanks to the compassion of friends like you, God opened the door to a new beginning. Diara was welcomed into the House of Love, a home sponsored by our Orphan’s Promise program, where she found safety, care, and the joy of belonging to a family.

“I thank God for every blessing in my life, and I’m very grateful for the people who support Orphan’s Promise.”
–Diara

The generosity of faithful partners like you surrounded Diara with more than just a roof over her head. You’ve given her a place filled with love and provision. And when new children arrived at the House of Love, Diara gave them nearly all of her clothes so they would feel welcome. Later she shared with a smile, “Then God gave me double what I’d given.” For Diara, it was a beautiful reminder that when she chooses kindness, God blesses her in return.
Because of your support, the House of Love has also been gifted

with practical improvements that make daily life safer and healthier for every child. You provided solar panels and lights for security at night, along with a refrigerator and freezer to store food. These simple but powerful tools mean that children like Diara can grow up nourished, protected, and full of hope.
Diara is now eagerly waiting for the day she will be baptized. She said, “I thank God for every blessing in my life, and I’m very grateful for the people who support Orphan’s Promise. Thank you. May the Lord bless you.”
Because of your kindness, Diara is not only surviving—she is thriving. Through your love, she is building a future filled with faith, joy, and the promise of all that God has planned for her.

Your generosity provided solar panels and lights so that Diara and her peers would feel protected at night.
From At-Risk to Thriving, Thanks to you!
YOUR GENEROSITY IS BRINGING LIGHT TO UKRAINE

Life during a time of war in Ukraine has been hard on everyone in that country. But in the Roma settlement of Barabolya, nestled in the Ukrainian city of Khust, hardship is even greater for children like Snizhana. Here, 7-year-old Snizhana lives with her nine sisters in a home built of simple boards—without proper access to water, food, or the academic support that they desperately need.
“There is no water in the house,” shares Lyudmyla, who works for our Khust Training Center. “There was a time when the family was starving.”
But through your generosity, Operation Blessing’s local training center has become a refuge of peace and provision during this season of war.
“All the sisters have been visiting our center,” Lyudmyla explained. Here, the girls receive warm breakfasts and lunches, often taking leftover food home so their family can have dinner. And we send them home with bottles filled with safe water as well.
Lyudmyla said that Snizhana is “very beautiful, gentle and friendly. She loves to sing, play with other children, willingly joins in everything interesting.” But life has been far from easy for her and she struggled academically.
Thanks to friends like you, now she doesn’t get sick as often and she’s thriving physically despite living in a war-torn country. She’s also getting academic, emotional, and spiritual support. Your generosity is changing the trajectory of her life.
“We are very happy that all the girls have the opportunity to come to our center every day,” Lyudmyla says, “where they regularly get warm breakfast and lunch—and peace and love.”
From a fragile shack in Ukraine, the gratitude is real—because your compassion is real. Thank you for giving peace, provision, and hope to precious children like Snizhana around the world as they face difficult times.

BLESSING FAMILIES with Food and Hope
THEY ARE GRATEFUL TO YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

Take a moment to digest this: Nearly 200 million children under the age of 5 are underweight or stunted because of nutritional deficiencies. What’s even worse is that nearly half of deaths in this age group are linked to lack of nutrition—a cause that is totally preventable.* These are staggering statistics.
The little preschoolers in Paucarcolla, Peru, were once among the children included in these heart-wrenching statistics. Each one has a face, a family, and a story. And now, thanks to you, they have the opportunity for a better future.
Many of these precious children suffered with chronic anemia from a lack of nutritious food. But your love is giving them a chance to thrive. For the past

nutrition among preschool students across Peru. Your compassion is providing healthy meals, daily vitamins, and nutritional workshops so that their parents can help these kids live happier, healthier lives.

You can see by the smiles on their faces how much they are enjoying their food! And your generosity is making a difference in the U.S. as well.
Mary is a retired secretary who lives on a fixed income in Portsmouth, Virginia. “When I first retired, things were going along well,” she told us. Then the prices of necessities like groceries and gas began to rise. Mary found it difficult to make ends meet. That’s when you stepped in.
When Mary needs food, your care meets her at her local food pantry at Good News Baptist Church. “There are times when I do run out of things and this just helps me a lot,” she said. “It will help me cut down the cost of food.” And all the nutritious choices at the pantry are helping her stay healthy.

“I feel like we are just a family, a big family.”
–Mary (Virginia)
When we met her, Mary expressed how grateful she is for your kindness when times get rough. “Things have been a little more expensive, but God’s been taking care of me,” she said. And every time she visits the pantry, she feels the warmth of your love. “I feel like we are just a family, a big family.” And your gifts keep going.
NIGERIA: Overcoming Poverty with Baking
Life in the poverty-ridden community of Fali, Nigeria, was marked by hardship. Work was infrequent and unstable. Most families earned less than $5 a week and couldn’t afford basic necessities like food. Residents were dependent on help from other countries. But today, they have something even better—the opportunity to depend on themselves.
Our generous partners provided training in baking so that women like Deborah in Fali could start their own businesses—by taking simple ingredients they had on hand to bake pastries and other income-generating products. With the additional earnings, they began offering beautifully crafted cakes and

snacks. Others learned how to make soap, disinfectant, and petroleum jelly and are now supplying local vendors with their products.
For the first time, Deborah felt empowered. “The experience wasn’t just about baking alone—it was about understanding financial discipline, a tool that has shaped not just my business but my entire future.”

These women are no longer livelihood. They can put food on the table and support their families, building a brighter future

HEALING AT HER DOORSTEP
Your kindness brought health and hope to Mexico

In the quiet and remote community of Benito Juárez, medical care can feel impossibly far away. For Susana and her husband, getting help for their 11-year-old daughter, Vasti, has often meant long trips to crowded health posts or expensive journeys to distant cities. These costly trips are often beyond what families like little Vasti’s can afford. When friends like you sent an Operation Blessing mobile medical clinic right into their neighborhood, it was nothing short of a miracle. Vasti had been suffering from severe bone pain and stomach problems. You gave her the immediate access she needed to be examined by a caring doctor without the strain and cost of travel. “I am very grateful because we are a low-income family, and sometimes we cannot afford a medical consultation,” Susana shared. “This opportunity was a great help.” Your generosity helped Vasti along with about 100 other patients that day, bringing help and hope to a struggling community. A compassionate team of general practitioners, dentists, pediatricians,

and volunteers offered checkups, treatment, and encouragement for health conditions like hypertension and diabetes— and even infections and cavities. Every smile, every diagnosis, every healing touch was made possible because you chose to care.
And while children waited for their turn with the doctor, there was even more joy to be found, courtesy of Superbook! With colorful animations and Bible adventures, these stories of God’s love brought laughter, hope,
and a reminder that they are deeply treasured by Him.
For Susana, the day started with medical treatment and ended with the steady assurance that someone, even a world away, cared enough to bring healing right to her doorstep. “We are very grateful, and may God bless those who make this possible,” she said. Your care didn’t just touch their lives, but those of the whole community as well.
From Mexico to the ends of the earth, your love is moving in powerful ways and helping children heal, families thrive, and communities know they are not forgotten.
Every smile, every diagnosis, every healing touch was made possible because you chose to care.

Helping Villagers IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

How you made the miracle of clean water a reality
In Cambodia, not far from the border with Thailand, lies the village of Romduol Veasna. As with so many places in Southeast Asia, its villagers face severe water shortages during the dry season, when the land becomes parched.
For 13-year-old Srey, who had to fetch water from a distant dam each day, it wasn’t just a arduous trek spending time that could be put to better use. She knew the water wasn’t clean or safe for her family.
“It contained garbage, dead insects, animal waste, moss,
human waste, and toxins from farming,” she told us.
“I worried about my health and my family because I was using contaminated water.”
But when Operation
Blessing heard about the villagers’ plight, friends like you offered them something that would change all that. Thanks to your generous help, we installed a new hand pump well that now provides safe drinking water for Srey’s family and their entire village. They also benefited from WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) training—which provided
the knowledge and skills they needed to maintain clean water and sanitation systems.

Most importantly, during the well dedication, a local pastor shared the Gospel—about how God loves and cares for all people. And Srey prayed to receive Christ into her heart— a life-changing event for this young girl!
So the well’s dedication was a double blessing: excitement at having a new well close to their homes, and delight in salvation
and God’s promises. You see, you make that possible when you decide to give the gift of clean water. You provide an opportunity for people to not only receive the physical water they need, but also to hear about the living water that is Jesus Christ.
And for a grateful Srey, her delight knows no bounds.
“Thank you very much for your love and generosity toward me and my community!”
