Austrian Cultural Pavilion is an open-air summer stage for art and culture, located in the middle of an artistic microclimate set up at the end of Otets Paisiy Street in the city of Plovdiv, as part of the white cube of Sariev Gallery, the artnewscafé meeting point and the office of the Open Arts Foundation. Fluca was established in 2016 after the idea of Vesselina Sarieva (Open Arts Foundation) and Thomas Stölzl (Austrian Embassy).
The fifth season of Fluca was held in 2020. It was implemented by Open Arts (Plovdiv) with the support of the Austrian Embassy in Sofia, supported by the Federal Chancellery of the Republic of Austria. In 2020, Fluca was part of the cultural calendar of Plovdiv Municipality. This year, Fluca’s programme was curated by Sariev Gallery.
The implementation of Fluca 2020's programme was a challenge due to the pandemic caused by Covid 19. It started later and underwent minor transformations; it was adapted thematically and managed to be implemented in its entirety, for which we thank t
