Admission to most UGA sports events is free! When you’re not at the game, get your sports fix with these touring ideas: Take a UGA campus tour offered by the UGA Visitors Center (p. 4), and check out venues such as Sanford Stadium, the nation’s seventh-largest on-campus college stadium, and Stegeman Coliseum, home to the 10-time National Champion GymDogs and site of UGA basketball. The Coliseum was also site of 1996 Olympics competition in volleyball and rhythmic gymnastics. Look for the Olympic memorial on the grounds. Map: UGA, 21

Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall houses memorabilia, touchscreen displays, and video highlights of the long and proud heritage of Georgia athletics. Exhibits include the 1980 national championship football trophy and Heisman trophies won by Frank Sinkwich and Herschel Walker, as well as items from the 1996 Olympics competition in Athens. Free. Walk through historic North Campus, home to Herty Field, where early Bulldog football teams played under Coach Pop Warner in the 1890s. The Chapel Bell is traditionally rung after Bulldog victories. Map: UGA, 2
