Aunque las inversiones más importantes de este invierno se han dedicado al Riu Bonanza Park reformando sus baños y comedor; pintando todas sus habitaciones; cambiando los cerramientos de cristal de la planta baja y primer piso, consiguiendo así un ahorro de energía muy importante. Nuestra bodega-hotel también ha sido renovada y transformada para dar más calidad a nuestros vinos y cavas. Hemos incorporado una prensa de última generación que exprime las diferentes variedades de uva de manera suave permitiendo obtener mostos que conservan todos sus aromas intrínsecos. Con esta nueva tecnología ampliamos así nuestro portafolio de variedades de uva autóctonas como Xarel·lo, Sumoll y Malvasía de Sitges, obteniendo nuevos caldos con la máxima expresión de nuestro terruño. Many thanks for your loyalty and to our teams that, each season, make an effort to achieve excellent satisfaction. This year we have also finalized the remodel of the Riu Bonanza Playa: the new Athenea, Zarabanda, and Madison halls and a new space for children with rooms for games, movies, and internet.

However, the most important investments of this winter have been dedicated to the Riu Bonanza Park, reforming its bathrooms and dining room, painting all its rooms, and changing the glass enclosures on the ground level and first floor, which will provide important energy savings. Our winery-hotel has also been renovated and transformed to improve the quality of our wines and cavas. We have added a cutting-edge press that presses the different varieties of grapes smoothly, allowing us to obtain musts that conserve all their intrinsic aromas. With this new technology, we are able to broaden our portfolio of indigenous grape varieties like Xarel·lo, Sumoll, and Malvasia de Sitges, obtaining new wines with the maximum expression of our homeland. Der Weinkeller in unserem Hotel wurde ebenfalls renoviert und umgestaltet, um die Qualität unserer Weine und Cava-Sorten zu verbessern.

Wir haben eine hochmoderne Presse erstanden, die die verschiedenen Traubenarten sanft presst, um Moste zu erhalten, die ihre wesentlichen Aromen behalten. Mit dieser neuen Technologie erweitern wir unsere Palette der traube lokalen Varietäten wie Xarel·lo, Sumoll und Malvasía de Sitges, die unsere Heimaterde maximal repräsentieren. Unless I’m booking a hotel with a brand I have status with (or a brand I’m looking to earn staBy Nic tus with), I almost always book through Exsung ole lasse sand umbre pedia. Not only does Expedia have it’s own lladrin ks.co m loyalty rewards program (which can help you earn extra perks and points on your stays), membership is free and even the lowest level members are eligible for extradiscounts. I always filter by the area I want to stay in and then sort by guest rating, and the Olivia Balmes popped to the top of my search. A quick check on TripAdvisor validated the reviews: the Olivia Balmes is a top ten hotel of all of the 500+ hotels in Barcelona. Reviewers praised the friendly service and the pristine accommodations and the price was right for our budget.

Primo location? Check. Clean room and excellent service? Check

and double check. Our pre-cruise stay at the Olivia Balmes Hotel in Barcelona’s Eixample district exceeded every expectation we had.Finding a hotel room in Barcelona can be intimidating, especially when you’re traveling with a family or a group. Location is key, especially in Barcelona, and space is a premium where hotel stays in Europe are involved.

You won’t find many of the hotel brands you find in the US in Barcelona – there’s a Renaissance, but it’s out of the way in Fira, and a W on the water near the cruise port (where the per night averages nearly double the average room at a W in the US). There’s a Best Western and a Le Meridien, but other than that, you’re looking at hotel brands you’ve likely never heard of.

Last year, we stayed at the Hotel Miramar and loved the quiet, old Hollywood kind of luxury and glam the hotel offered (you can read my review of the Hotel Miramar here), but with multiple cruise ships embarking in Barcelona as well as the Grand Prix weekend, the Miramar was sold out, and we were left back at the drawing board.

The downside of the Miramar, for us, was that it was out in Montjuic, removed from the main sights and hustle and bustle of Barcelona. So one of our musts was central location. Another was a room with at least two full beds, because three adults in a king is all kinds of unpleasant.

And the hotel had to be at least four stars. In our experience, star ratings in Europe are generally a level higher than they are in the US and a five star hotel is generally comparable to a US four star (and a four star comparable to a three/three and a half star), so with that in mind, a four star was the lowest we wanted to go.

Location

The Olivia Balmes is located in Barcelona’s Eixample district, which is known for its high end shopping. The Boqueria (and Las Ramblas), Casa Mila and the Passeig de Gracia are easily within walking distance and the Sagrada Familia is accessible via a Metro stop less than four blocks from the front door. The central location meant that dozens of restaurants, bars and cafés featuring every kind of cuisine were right outside our door, and stores and boutiques were everywhere. Our favorite restaurant? Balmes/Rosselló, one block from the hotel with the best champagne sangria we’ve ever tasted and a solid menu of tapas, pizzas, salads and meats. The Olivia Balmes is ten miles from the airport, and less than a 15 minute drive to the cruise terminal. Catching a cab is easy from the street, but the doormen are more than happy to hail one for you.

#Bloggers Room

We booked a triple room with a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed and found it to be plenty of room for the three of us. Our luggage was set up in the room and out of the way before we even got upstairs, and the pull out was already made up into a full size bed. The furniture and accents were quite modular, with plenty of hidden space (which we needed because we were toting plenty of luggage!). The décor of the room was clean and modern, perhaps not as elegant as some of the other hotels we’d stay at on this trip, but perfectly functional.

A double sink was in the passageway between the entry and the bedroom, with a sliding door to close off the area fully, and separate, closed areas for both the toilet and a bathtub/shower. One unexpected touch that we really appreciated was a box of toiletry kits (ranging from dental kits to sewing kits) stashed away beneath the sink. One of us

always forgets something, so we really appreciated the touch. Another nice touch was the electric tea kettle and complimentary selection of teas and coffees—great for early morning caffeine jolts when you’re getting ready for a day of touring!

Check in doesn’t formally begin until 3:00 pm, but our flight landed at just past 10:30 and we were in a taxi on our way to the hotel within an hour of landing. Our bags were taken care of straight from the taxi by the bellhop, and even though we were early and our room wasn’t quite ready, the front desk staff whisked us straight to the bar for a round of (complimentary) cocktails – whatever we wanted (they recommended, and we obliged in, the housemade sangria) – while they processed our credit card and passports.

Amenities

The Olivia Balmes has some pretty standard amenities for a four star hotel (a small gym, free wifi with decent speeds, a bar and a restaurant in the lobby), but the real gem was the rooftop pool.

A manager stopped by to drop off the wifi password and offer up any tips or recommendations we may need for our time in Barcelona, and we were escorted up to our room (where our luggage was already waiting for us) when our room was ready – less than an hour after we arrived. Every time we went out or returned back, we were greeted by the friendly staff and everyone from the front desk to housekeeping was warm and inviting.

Not to be outdone by the gorgeous pool area, the rooftop also features a patio that features great views of Eixample. It’s a great place to unwind after a long day and catch the sunset, kick your feet up or even just look out at the gorgeous buildings around you and appreciate the unique vibe of Barcelona.

With modern accommodations and an unbeatable location, the Olivia Balmes offers a comfortable, relaxed place to come back to after a long day of exploring all of the wonderful things Barcelona has to offer.

Cómo serán nuestros viajes de negocios en 2017 por Marcel Forns, General Manager GEBTA A la luz de diversos indicadores, el 2017 se prevé positivo. La evolución de la actividad presenta indicios de mantener el buen tono y pese a la incertidumbre que sigue rigiendo sobre el crecimiento económico global, la actividad de las sociedades españolas en el exterior no ha dejado de crecer, se ha ampliado la base de empresas con negocio internacional, y se ha generado una inercia estable y sólida. A este dato hay que sumar la recuperación de la demanda interna, que se había visto muy afectada hasta finales de 2014. A la vista de estos datos, todo hace pensar que las empresas españolas mantendrán dinámicas de actividad viajera similares a las registradas en 2016, si bien es probable que deban asumir ligeras alzas en los costes de los servicios, consecuencia fundamentalmente de la evolución de los precios de alojamiento y restauración en algunas de las principales plazas de negocio, así como los derivados de la evolución del dólar respecto del euro, cuyos efectos podrán verse reflejados.

Los viajes de la empresa española. Sin perjuicio de que los factores de entorno son los mismos para todos los países, en particular en economías altamente globalizadas, a priori existen dos elementos fundamentales que pueden marcar la diferencia de España respecto de sus vecinos europeos, en términos de evolución. Por un lado, el 2017 debería marcar un punto de inflexión en términos de inversión en viajes, como consecuencia de la “vuelta a la normalidad” de España, una vez constituido el Gobierno a finales del 2016. Con la superación del largo período de interinidad, es previsible que el ejecutivo dé luz verde a muchos de los proyectos públicos que se han visto paralizados durante prácticamente dos ejercicios y que han constituido un factor inhibidor del crecimiento de la actividad, y en consecuencia de los viajes de negocio. Por otro lado, a diferencia de algunos de los mercados competidores de nuestro entorno, España sigue gozando de una dinámica más propicia para el desarrollo de la actividad exterior. Al margen del calendario político de algunos de nuestros vecinos europeos, la constante mejora de la conectividad internacional y los elevados niveles de competencia en las principales rutas deberían ser una vez más un factor que juegue a favor del aumento de la inversión en viajes corporativos por parte de las empresas españolas, cuyo incremento de actividad e inversión podría situarse de nuevo por encima de la media de referencia, con el consiguiente impacto en términos de ingresos por exportación. Finalmente y desde un punto de vista del negocio y de la praxis sectorial, la empresa española continuará por la senda de su rápida adaptación a los patrones de comportamiento de sus colegas europeos, recortando de este modo la distancia con aquellos mercados con mayores niveles de madurez.

Retos del sector. Desde un punto de vista global, el viaje de negocio debe evolucionar hacia una disciplina mucho más transversal, acorde con las diferentes dimensiones y ámbitos en los que tiene incidencia dentro de las empresas. Esta afirmación implica la revisión del tratamiento del viaje de empresa dentro de las corporaciones, con el objeto de añadir a la gestión ordinaria muy vinculada a compras, “capas” de participación asociadas a aquellos departamentos o áreas funcionales a los que también afecta, como son entre otros, los departamentos de RRHH. En los viajes resulta clave la seguridad de las personas en movilidad, por poner un ejemplo, estén donde estén. Esta vía de carácter transversal, que debe comportar entre otros aspectos la revisión de muchos de los indicadores (KPIs) que venimos utilizando, es absolutamente imprescindible si queremos dotar al viaje de su auténtica dimensión, si pretendemos multiplicar el rendimiento y la productividad de los desplazamientos, y sin ningún tipo de duda, si aspiramos a atender y cubrir adecuadamente nuevas exigencias como las vinculadas al risk managment.

La bodega Mastinell realizó una gran inversión durante este pasado 2016. ¿Qué aspectos de estas mejoras destacarías?

Realizamos una reforma integral, con una idea clara “hacer vinos de mayor calidad aunque ello implique menor cantidad”, y esa ha sido la máxima que hemos seguido. La primera diferencia al recibir las uvas es una doble cámara frigorífica para enfriar la uva (vendimiada a mano y en pequeñas cajas) durante una noche antes de trabajar con la fruta para minimizar la oxidación. También cambiamos la prensa por una de última tecnología: el prensado neumático en atmosfera protegida; de esta forma las uvas se exprimen suavemente en una atmósfera sin oxígeno que permite preservar todos los aromas desde el inicio del proceso.

Realmente Mastinell se ha convertido en una bodega singular donde la calidad pasa por encima de la cantidad, una bodega para descubrir.

The Mastinell winery made a large investment in 2016. Which aspects of these improvements would you highlight?

We did a comprehensive remodel, with the clear idea of “making highest quality wines even though that implies a smaller quantity,” and that has been the maxim that we have followed ever since. The first difference upon receiving the grapes is a double chamber refrigerator to cool the grapes (harvested by hand in small batches) for one night before working with the fruit in order to minimize oxidation.

We have also replaced the press with one using the latest technology: a pneumatic press in a controlled environment. The grapes are smoothly pressed in an oxygen-free atmosphere that allows us to preserve all the aromas from the beginning of the process. Mastinell has really become a unique winery where quality is clearly more important than quantity in every aspect, and is a winery worth seeing.

¿Qué nuevos productos habéis lanzado al mercado?

Este año hemos creado un nuevo cava: Chapó!

2013, un mono varietal de Chardonnay cultivado en nuestra propia finca. Una apuesta innovadora, existen muy pocos cavas 100% Chardonnay.

Para nosotros este es uno de los cavas más jóvenes aunque conlleva un mínimo de 30 meses de crianza. La otra novedad es el vino Alba Tinto 2016 con D.O. Penedès. Un vino joven, muy agradable, ideal para acompañar embutidos, carne de cerdo, pollo... pero también para pescados azules. Ideal para el verano servido un par de grados más frío.

What new products have you brought to market?

This year we have created a new cava: Chapó! 2013, a single varietal Chardonnay grown on our own property. It is an innovative wager because there are very few 100% Chardonnay cavas. For us, this is one of the youngest cavas even though it involves a minimum of 30 months of aging.

The other new arrival is the Alba Tinto 2016 wine with a Penedès denomination of origin. It is a young, very pleasant wine ideal for accompanying cured meats, pork, chicken... but also blue fish. It is ideal in summer served a couple degrees colder.

Der erste Unterschied bei Ankunft der Trauben ist eine doppelte Gefrierkammer, um die Trauben (die vorher von Hand verlesen und in kleine Kisten gepackt wurden) vor der Weiterverarbeitung eine Nacht lang zu erkalten, um so die Oxidation zu minimalisieren. Wir haben ebenfalls unsere Presse gegen eine neue hochmoderne Presse ausgetauscht: Diese presst pneumatisch in einer geschützten Atmosphäre, so dass die Trauben in einer sauerstofffreien Atmosphäre sanft ausgepresst werden und so all ihre Aromen von Anfang an erhalten können. Mastinell ist wirklich zu einer einzigartigen Bodega geworden, bei der deutlich gemacht wird, dass Qualität wichtiger als Quantität

Welche neuen Produkte haben Sie auf den Markt gebracht?

Dieses Jahr haben wir eine neue Cava-Sorte kreiert: Chapó! 2013, ein reinsortiger Chardonnay aus eigenem Anbau.

Ein innovativer Ansatz, den es gibt nur wenige Cava-Sorten aus 100% Chardonnay. Für uns ist es einer der jüngsten Cavas, auch wenn er mindestens 30 Monate Reifezeit erfordert. Die zweite Neuigkeit ist der Rotwein Alba Tinto 2016, mit Herkunftsbezeichnung Penedès. Ein junger und sehr angenehmer Wein, ideal zu Wurstwaren, Schweinefleisch, Hähnchen... aber auch zu Fettfischen. Perfekt im Sommer, wenn wir ihn ein paar Grad kälter servieren.

¿Qué evolución han experimentado el resto de vuestros productos?

Tras la reforma de la bodega se decidió que el vino Chardonnay fuera un fiel reflejo de este cambio. Para ello quisimos hacer un vino muy aromático, en el que quedara claro que no se ha oxidado ni la más mínima parte de la excelente uva que nos llega a la bodega. Para conseguir esto se recurrió a una técnica experimental: la crio maceración pre fermentativa, consistente en tratar la uva (blanca) como si se tratara de un tinto, macerando el mosto con los hollejos, donde están todos los aromas que queremos extraer y para ello “infusionamos”. Pero si hiciéramos sólo eso extraeríamos elementos que no precisamos de los hollejos (verdores, aspereza...) por lo que es necesario enfriar a temperatura bajísima, en este caso 1-2ºC y alargar este proceso durante más de 24 horas. Para mantener esta temperatura durante tanto tiempo usamos el llamado hielo seco, que no es más que CO2 en estado sólido a una temperatura de -90ºC, con este hielo enfriamos a la vez que protegemos nuestra “infusión” del oxígeno. El resultado ha sido fenomenal, un vino que no deja indiferente a nadie, un Chardonnay con una potencia aromática única. Otro de los cambios importantes ha sido el vino Gisele, un mono varietal de Xarel.lo, la uva icono del Penedès. Para elaborarlo hemos seleccionado un viñedo muy viejo, de 76 años de edad, cada cepa puede superar los dos metros de altura, ¡son como árboles!

After remodeling the winery, it was decided that the Chardonnay wine was a faithful reflection of this change. We wanted to make a very aromatic wine, in which it was clear that no part of the excellent grapes brought to the win-ery had been oxidized in any way. To do this, we turned to an experimental technique: pre-fermentation macera-tion, consistent with treating the (white) grape as if it were red, macerating the must with the skin, where all the aromas we want to extract are, so we “infuse” it. But if we just did that, we would also extract unwanted elements from the skin (greenery, roughness...) which makes it necessary to freeze it to a very low temperature, in this case 1-2ºC, and draw out the process over more than 24 hours. To maintain this temperature over such a long period of time, we use dry ice, which is just CO2 in solid form at a temperature of -90ºC. With this ice, we can lower the tem-perature while keeping our “infusion” free of oxygen. The result has been phenomenal. It is a wine that doesn’t leave anyone feeling indifferent, a Chardonnay with a unique aromatic strength. Another important change has been the Gisele wine, a single varietal of Xarel lo, the iconic grape of the Penedès. To produce it, we have selected a very old vineyard. At 76 years of age, each vine can reach up to two meters in height. They are like trees!

Nach der Renovierung der Bodega wurde beschlossen, dass der Chardonnay diese Erneuerung ideal repräsentiert. Daher wollten wir einen sehr aromatischen Wein herstellen, bei dem deutlich wird, dass nicht der kleinste Teil der exzellenten Traube, die unseren Weinkeller erreicht, oxidiert. Um dies zu erreichen, wurde eine experimentelle Technik angewandt: Die vor der Gärung angewandte Mazeration, bei der die (weiße) Traube wie die rote Traube behandelt wird, der Most mit der Schale eingeweicht wird, um alle Aromen zu extrahieren, daher lassen wir sie „ziehen“. Wenn wir aber nur das tun würden, würden wir auch Elemente aus den Schalen ziehen, die wir nicht möchten (das Grün, Herbe...), daher muss die Temperatur sehr niedrig sein, in diesem Fall 1-2ºC, und der Prozess mehr als 24 Stunden andauern. Um diese Temperatur während so langer Zeit beizubehalten, verwenden wir das so genannte Trockeneis, bei dem es sich um nichts anderes als CO2 in festem Zustand bei einer Temperatur von -90ºC handelt. Mit diesem Eis erkalten wir unsere „Infusion” und schützen sie gleichzeitig vor dem Sauerstoff. Das Ergebnis war fantastisch, ein Wein, der wirklich jeden begeistert, ein Chardonnay mit einer einzigartigen aromatischen Kraft. Eine weitere bedeutende Veränderung hat der Wein Gisele erfahren, ein reinsortiger Xarel.lo, die sinnbildliche Traube des Penedès. Hier haben wir einen sehr alten Weingarten genutzt, der 76 Jahre alt ist und in dem jede Rebe mehr als zwei Meter hoch ist – diese Reben sind wie Bäume!

Y podemos observar un fenómeno muy curioso ya que algunas cepas han mutado de forma espontánea dando lugar a algunas ramas con uva Xarel·lo roja, un Xarel·lo de color rosado que era conocido por los payeses de la zona como Rosaki. En viñedos como

este reside la prueba de que el Rosaki deriva del Xarel.lo. Debido a la edad del viñedo y al tipo de cultivo este viñedo produce una baja cantidad de uva de la mayor calidad. Cuando recibimos esta uva en la bodega prensamos suavemente para llenar algunas barricas con este mosto y arrancar una fermentación muy lenta, a una temperatura baja que acabará en Navidad. Esto significa una fermentación larguísima ya que un vino tarda una semana normalmente en acabar la fermentación pero este estará haciéndose poco a poco, “a fuego muy lento” durante más de dos meses. Ese tiempo da al vino un cuerpo, una untuosidad y textura propia de los mejores caldos. Pasada la fermentación este vino envejece durante unos siete meses más en las barricas.

And we can observe a very interesting phenomenon, as some of the vines have spontaneously mutated, with some branches of red Xarel lo, a rosé Xarel lo which was known by the farmers of the region as Rosaki. The proof that Rosaki comes from the

Xarel lo is found in these vineyards. Due to the age of the vineyard and the type of cultivation, this vineyard produces a low quantity of grapes of the highest quality. When we receive this grape in the winery, we smoothly press it to fill some barrels with the must and begin a very slow fermentation process at a low temperature which will end around Christmas. This means a very slow fermentation process since a wine normally completes the fermentation process after a week, but this will be completing it little by little, “a slow burn” of more than two months. This time gives the wine a body, a syrupiness and unique texture of only the greatest wines. After the fermentation process, this wine is aged another seven months in the barrels.

Und wir können an ihnen ein sehr interessantes Phänomen beobachten, denn einige Reben haben sich spontan verändert und weisen Zweige mit der roten Traube Xarel·lo auf, eine roséfarbene Xarel·lo, die bei den Einheimischen als Rosaki bekannt ist. In solchen Weingärten liegt der Beweis dafür, dass der Rosaki vom Xarel.lo stammt. Aufgrund des Alters des Weingartens und der Art des Weinanbaus erzeugt dieser wenige, aber qualitativ hochwertige Trauben. Wenn diese Traube unseren Weinkeller erreicht, pressen wir sie sanft aus und füllen einige Fässer mit diesem Most, um dann mit einer sehr langsamen Gärung zu beginnen, bei niedrigen Temperaturen, die an Weihnachten endet. Es handelt sich also um eine sehr lange Gärung, denn normalerweise dauert diese bei einem Wein eine Woche, aber dieser wird „auf niedriger Flamme” mehr als zwei Monate lang gegärt. Diese Zeitspanne verleiht ihm Körper und Geschmeidigkeit. Nach der Gärung reift dieser Wein weitere sieben Monat in den Fässern.

¿Cuáles son vuestros siguientes retos?

Estamos plantando nuevos viñedos, apostando fuerte por variedades ancestrales del Penedès como puede ser la Malvasía de Sitges, el Sumoll o el Monastrell. Aunque quedan aún unos años para disfrutar de los primeros frutos de estas vides llevamos ya un par de años trabajando en este proyecto. Por otro lado acabamos de recibir el distintivo de agricultura y elaboración ecológica que certificará la forma que tenemos de cultivar y de hacer vinos en Mastinell desde hace mucho tiempo.

Tras la reforma de la bodega nos pusimos con el cambio de imagen de nuestros productos. Ya hemos actualizado casi todos los productos de nuestro catálogo. La nueva imagen de nuestros cavas y vinos ahora está en consonancia con la arquitectura del Cava & Hotel Mastinell que hace un guiño al modernismo. Con este cambio queremos transmitir aquello que nos define: un lugar, una cultura y unos valores. Modernidad, tradición, calidad, honradez, esfuerzo... esos son algunos de los valores que mejor definen Mastinell y nuestro “savoir faire”.

What are your next challenges?

We are planting new vineyards, with a strong focus on the ancestral varieties of the Penedès like the Malvasia de Sitges, Sumoll, and Monastrell. Although we have to wait a few more years to enjoy the first fruits of these vines, we have already been working for two years on this project. On the other hand, we have just received the distinction of ecological agriculture and production which will certify the way we have been cultivating and making wines at Mastinell for a long time.

What can you tell us about the new image of Mastinell products?

After remodeling the winery, we set out to change the image of our products. We have already updated almost all the products of our catalog. The new image of our cavas and wines is now in line with the architecture of the Cava & Hotel Mastinell with nods to modernism. With this change, we want to convey that which defines us: a place, a culture, and our values. Modernity, tradition, warmth, honor, effort... these are some of the values that best define Mastinell and our savoir faire.

Was sind Ihre künftigen Herausforderungen?

Wir bauen neue Weingärten an und setzen dabei auf uralte Varietäten des Penedès, wie zum Beispiel die Malvasía de Sitges, Sumoll oder Monastrell. Auch wenn es noch einige Jahre dauert, bis wir die ersten Trauben dieser Reben ernten können, arbeiten wir bereits seit zwei Jahren an diesem Projekt. Wir haben ebenfalls vor Kurzem eine Auszeichnung für ökologischen Anbau und ökologische Herstellung erhalten, die die Art und Weise, in der Mastinell seit langer Zeit Weine anbaut und produziert, bescheinigt.

Was können Sie uns über das neue Image der Mastinell-Produkte sagen?

Nach der Renovierung der Bodega haben wir die Image-Änderung unserer Produkte in Angriff genommen. Wir haben bereits beinahe alle Produkte aktualisiert. Das neue Image unserer Cava- und Weinsorten entspricht nun der Architektur des Cava & Hotel Mastinell, die vom Modernismus beeinflusst ist. Mit dieser Veränderung möchten wir ausdrücken, was uns definiert: Ein Ort, eine Kultur und Werte. A vivid straw yellow colour with ochre nuances, featuring fine bubbles. On the nose we find a balance between this varietal’s own notes, like litchi and tropical fruits, accompanied by ageing notes such as pastry and lightly toasted notes. The palate is delicate and makes a perfect balance between structure and acidity.

Yellow colour with ochre reflections, bright and with fine bubbles. Complex nose, with a predominance of vine fruit and light hints of nuts with waxy undertones. Silky and balanced, with a full mouth feel in the palate. Fresh final taste with pleasant hints of butter and honey. Unctuous in the mouth, with long persistence.

A medida que se abre aparecen las notas de melocotón de viña, miel y polen. En boca con predominio de fruta blanca (pera) y melocotón en almíbar. final con ligeros toques de hierbas mediterráneas: tomillo, hierba luisa y salvia.

Amarillo vivo con tonalidades ámbar y lágrimas muy marcadas.

Nariz compleja combinando la frescura de los cítricos (pomelo, piña), con la fruta tropical. En el paladar evoca mango, melocotón, con apuntes de papaya y ligeras notas lácticas.

Chardonnay

A vivid yellow with amber tones and very marked tear. Complex on the nose, combining the freshness of citrus (grapefruit, pineapple) with tropical fruit.

On the palate, it recalls mango, peach, with notes of papaya and light lactic notes.

Clos Sant Pau

Rojo rubí de capa media con densas lágrimas. En nariz es afrutado, recuerdos de confitura de ciruela mora, con toques balsámicos y torrefactos propios de la crianza. En boca, ligeros toques de tabaco fresco, cuero y frutas negras maduras (casis y moras).

Un crianza fresco y suave, con potencial de guarda durante 2 o 4 años en botella.

Arte

Pale yellow with greenish reflections, bright, very marked tear. Delicate but intense nose, fresh, with aromas of lemon and tangerine peel. As it opens up, notes of vineyard peach, honey and pollen unfold. Fruity in the mouth with predominance of white fruit (pear) and peaches in syrup. Finish with light hints of Mediterranean herbs: thyme, lemon verbena and sage.

Ruby coloured of middle layer with dense tear. The nose is fruity, recalling plum and blackberry jam, with ageingrelated balsamic and toasted touches. On the palate, light touches of fresh tobacco, leather and ripe black fruit (blakcurrant and blackberry). A fresh, smooth vintage that can remain in the bottle for 2 or 4 years.

Gran estructura, acidez y equilibrio dan golosidad, pero sobre todo, personalidad al vino.

Gisele

Pale yellow with green shades. On the nose, hints of toast and French oak roast. Upon oxygenation, mint and citrus notes arise, combined with cinnamon and white fruit. Full and tasty in the mouth: pear and melon meet in our palate combined with light toast notes.

Great structure, acidity and balance make this an appetising wine, but above all, a wine with personality.
